Backstage from the final stop of Photobuster | I Talìa in the Calabrian territory.
Four photographers — @AndreeaNicotra, @Camilla.Pedretti, @Sala__Alessandro, and Marco Zanella (@mrz.zanella) — crossed the Cosenza Valley, intertwining their paths and crafting a collective narrative of a welcoming land.
Here, they encountered resilient communities, cultural memory, female rituals and social marginalization. The city of Cosenza emerged as a pivotal frontier in the Italian Southern Question — a place where identity is shaped through dialogue between past and present, between the personal and the collective.

On August 1st, the outcomes of the residency will be presented with a projection at 10 PM in San Lucido (CS), as part of the @FotografiaCalabriaFestival.

This residency is part of the collective project I TALÌA, dedicated to building and documenting a photographic archive of contemporary Italy. The project is supported by Strategia Fotografia 2024 and promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.

Viva toda mulher negra Latino-Americana e caribenha!

Last week, together with @Arianna_Arcara and @MariaElisaFerraris, I held the talk CESURA CASE HISTORY for the students of @CFP_Bauer in Milan.
After Arianna’s introduction about how our collective was founded and has evolved over the years, we talked about our publishing house with a focus on the books published by me and Elisa, diving into the creative and production aspects behind both the projects and the books.
Thanks to all the students who followed and engaged with us, and to their coordinator @SalvatorePastore0!

See you soon!

1- Kids at the Head of the Lion cliff, 2015

@ciirovitiiello opened this year’s edition of @lost.music.festival playing a mesmerising act on the Bamboo stage of which I curated the whole light design and light programming

so happy to be lighting a friend and collaborator and open the gates of the festival together

here some documentation of the first live of the festival, hands shaking on the faders of the console til the haze filled the bamboo crown and everything reached another state of being

Proud to be part of the fanzine “Baby go”, the first edition of “And other chapters” series, created by Cesura Publish.

Revolving around a spiral, “Baby Go” reflects on the circularity of everyday life within the collective: a perpetual artistic and personal learning cycle brimming with ups and downs. Alternating photographs by fifteen of Cesura’s mentees, the fanzine inaugurates Cesura Publish’s new series, “And Other Chapters.”

Tomorrow we will launch the fanzine at @potlatch.milano at 6pm see u there!
