Beginner Hip Hop with @andrei.miasco at The Hive. 🕺🏾🔥

We worked on the same routine to different songs, exploring how changes in pace and musical attitude can transform the movement.

A reminder that the “basics” are never basic. When your fundamentals are strong, everything you stack on top of them will be strong too.

Build the base. Trust the process. Keep growing.

Real fans read the set descriptions 👀 Next at #UFPComicExpo is Benchwarmers 🧢🤪

Benchwarmers is choreographed by Andrei Miasco. Taking inspiration from choreography and freestyling alike, this project was created to bring friends together and share the stage with people that have been a part of his journey, both in dance and life. The warmers of the bench are excited to back for the second time.

Head to the main stage to see your favorite dancers in the community! Don’t miss Benchwarmers at #UFPWarmup2026 💥

we’re so excited to announce our WEDNESDAY MAY 6th workshop teachers

ANDREI:
Andrei is a dancer/choreographer born and raised in New Jersey. He joined the NJ community in 2012 and has since been a part of teams such as The Wannabes and Project D. Currently, Andrei is on IMGE Dance Company, a genre-blurring American dance company rooted in storytelling.

ESTHER:
Esther Agyare is a dancer and choreographer currently studying at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where she is pursuing a BFA in Dance with a concentration in Dance Science. She began her dance journey at a young age with afro dance and hip-hop and has since expanded her training to include contemporary, jazz, and movement practices. Esther previously danced with RAPS Troupe Dance (RDT) and is currently a member of the Be Team at The Hive. She is passionate about community, storytelling, and using dance as a tool for connection and empowerment, and hopes to continue growing as an artist while giving back to the spaces that supported her journey.
