29.06.2026 , 8 Jahre später….und wisst ihr , ich möchte diesen Post als Anlass nutzen, zu sagen, dass nicht alles perfekt sein muss , dass es sich durchaus mal schwer anfühlen kann, schwierig und herausfordernd. Auch wenn die Liebe immer romantisiert wird, was sie definitiv auch ist , wird sie viel zu selten auch , als etwas dargestellt , was eben auch viel Verständnis , Arbeit , Zeit und Kompromisse braucht. Wir hatten auch unsere schwierigen Zeiten , Zeiten wo wir uns ein stückweit verloren haben. In denen wir wieder zueinander finden mussten. Und dennoch war da immer diese „Liebe“ , dass Gefühl von Geborgenheit , Ruhe , Verständnis , Hingabe und absolutem Fallen lassen und eben ein Gefühl von zu Hause. So lange die Liebe vorhanden ist, schafft man alles gemeinsam. Heute sind wir 8 Jahre verheiratet und ich würde mich immer wieder für dich entscheiden @nick_maerker 🤍 #love Video @andreschlechte

🌺 Engage! Maui | Day Three Day three brought a shift to smaller breakout sessions, and those are always some of my favorite moments of Engage!. While the main stage is incredible, there is something special about gathering in smaller groups, having deeper conversations, and building meaningful connections with others in the industry. Those moments of intentionality often end up being the most impactful. Between sessions, we grabbed lunch and, of course, Engage! found a way to make even that memorable with adorable branded lunch boxes and a vintage convertible serving as the centerpiece. The day’s dress theme was Island Blues & Greens, followed by Maui in Bloom for the evening gala. White florals, beautiful details, incredible fashion, and a room full of people who fully embraced the theme made for a truly unforgettable night. The gala itself did not disappoint. A phenomenal live band kept the dance floor packed, and the energy carried throughout the entire evening. Having attended multiple Engage! events over the years, I can confidently say this was my favorite one yet. The atmosphere was relaxed, the people were exceptionally kind, and the connections felt genuine and meaningful. I left Maui inspired, grateful, and reminded once again that some of the best growth happens when you surround yourself with people who challenge, encourage, and elevate one another. 🌺 Engage! Maui | Day One Every Engage! begins with one of my favorite traditions: gifting and check-in. This year’s welcome experience celebrated the spirit of Maui with thoughtful gifts from island makers, including Maui Jim sunglasses, OluKai shoes, an Aloha cooler tote, and so many other locally crafted treasures. Judging by this photo, I think we may be qualified for the next Maui Jim campaign. 😎 @mauijim From there, we headed into the opening sessions where powerful speakers set the tone for the week ahead. The stories, perspectives, and conversations were both inspiring and moving, reminding us why gathering together as an industry matters. The evening ended oceanside with an incredible dining experience. Between the endless food stations, the sound of the waves, and reconnecting with friends from across the country, it was the perfect start to the week. The day’s theme was Maui Magic, followed by an evening of Vintage Hawaiian style, making every detail feel thoughtfully connected to the island we’re fortunate enough to experience. Looking back, it was the perfect start to a week filled with meaningful conversations, incredible experiences, and reminders of why I love this industry so much. A room filled with flowers, beautiful people, and the kind of energy that makes you pause and take it all in. As the final evening unfolded, I found myself reflecting on how fortunate I am to build a life rooted in creativity, connection, and purpose. Not because of the places I’ve been or the rooms I’ve entered, but because of the people I’ve met along the way. Maui reminded me that a beautiful life isn’t measured by what you have. It’s measured by who you become, who you impact, and who stands beside you as you grow.
