Thank you to everyone who joined us here at the Straw Barn to mark the summer solstice eve with a Céilí.

We were so delighted to see this place we’ve been working on for the last 3 years come alive with music and dance! Twas especially beautiful thanks to the talented musicians @eoghanhiggins209 @athenanomadica @uptherethelast #Keirendaly plus our caller #Noelburke and more who joined and helped make it happen!

Special shout out to @anacosgrave for the mixing magic 🌸

We have no doubt there will be more like this to come soon!

I’m so lucky to have had the opportunity to be part of the 8 Collective over-50s dance group based in Hackney. We are led by the wonderful and inspirational @andrew7coombs and over the last six months have been working with him to devise our performance Treading the Limits which was performed over last weekend @old_school_rooms at the @roundchapel in Clapton. Themes of Boundaries Ceasefire and Families have led our creative process and it has been quite a journey. Wonderful music by @taro.gra and incredible lighting by @slice.of.light.design and amazing photos by @katjaphoto #dancecollective #olderdancers #collaborations #communitydance #dancingwomen
