Proof that the best thing I’ve built in New York wasn’t a career, an apartment, or a routine. It was a #community ❤️

November #2025, featuring the people who made this city feel like home.

@chinatown.social Mid-Autumn Block Party customer picks part 1 💕

Thank you so much to everyone who came out this past weekend! Ya’ll braved the rain and crazy humid climes with such grace. So many of you shared that you’ve been following my journey, and it means so much to me that you came to see my designs in person. 🥰

The CTS gatherings always feel like a family reunion. I’ll share more on the incredible event as a whole soon.

Meantime, here’s the first batch of you in your favorite picks! The Courageous 勇敢 Necklace was the bestseller ~ I’m so chuffed that you love my newest design, and many pieces across the collection.

R&B is injected into so much of modern music ❤️ And as a lover of the genre @itscozyworldwide has quickly become one my favorite R&B themed events, showing love for R&B from across the decades. If you're feeling the mix and want to see me as part of a future lineup in the NYC area (and more), Like, Comment, Share, and Tag them!

2023 was a lot of firsts.

First time filling a storefront in chinatown New York for Lunar New Year, with all the guzaowei 古早味 I hand-selected, and Taiwanese tea @daetea.co

First time showcasing a Taiwanese artist, a vision that was always a part of GaMaDiam Goods, and collaborating with Taiwanese artist @yenyenflamingooo , and certainly not the last

First time connecting with uptown New Yorkers who each shared their own fervency for Taiwan, @westelm Columbus Circle

First time sharing the family’s lourou 滷肉 with New York, atop the nutritional noodles I especially sourced from Kaohsiung @bobblehaus . to have the biggest nutritional noodle enthusiast (aside from me) eat it under @kaarinamackenzie painting of her grandmother eating noodles in Taiwan, felt the utmost special

First time sharing Taiwanese goodness with the community of @rockefellercenter at their mini nightmarket, and then a Taiwanese zhongzhi workshop during dragon boat festival 端午節, sharing Taiwanese zhongzhi the way moms has always imagined she’d pass down to me

First time cooking vegan for 22 people @welcome.to.chinatown’s new hub, a Taiwanese liungmien cold noodle with Japanese anecdotes, next to translucent marinated lotus root, the way mom would always season it

First time sharing Taiwanese goodness @pioneerworks and Red Hook’s greater community, first a Taiwan-in-New York mini market during Second Saturday, to cooking 4 courses of louroumien, liungmien, marinated wood ear mushroom salad, and the new favorite of the bunch, fried mini handmade tungyuan 炸湯圓, with black sugar, miente powder, and dried scallion flakes, for the Climate Futurism science talk, then for the Press Play fair to round out the spunky year

2023 is also the first time I sincerely considered the reality of venturing into the culinary arts, and what that might look like. Fervently scary, but already so WORTH it.

TY ALL 4 showing me it’s all possible 🥹

can’t wait to see what other Firsts 2024 brings✨

A full circle moment in my DJ journey. Today was special. One of the coolest things that can happen as a creative is to not only meet your inspirations, but perform in front of them as well. It was an honor to spin in the same room as one of my hip-hop heroes: the Grammy-award winning, legendary producer, @realpeterock

As I was playing a fun mix of golden-age era hip-hop, Pete was grooving and came up to me and said "you're playing that good stuff!" As someone who came up listening to his classic albums with C.L. Smooth and other productions on heavy rotation, that's the only compliment I need. Thank you sir 🙏

Shout out to my team at SXM Media and the good folks over at The Trade Desk for hosting this celebration of hip-hop's 50th anniversary. Big ups to Pete, Hoop88Dreams' Shara McHayle, and SXM's own Steve Keller and Antonio Francisco for enlightening us on the genre's huge impact on diversity and inclusion
