I can’t say enough about the mad fluffy loam lines, super techy off-camber hard on wood to wood features, sniper down drops and rowdy road gaps. We really let the bike dance and the rig fly as best we could out there!!

Thanks @redbullcanada for the insane weekend.

In case you missed it!

Very cool to experience this in person, so many good people, good times and ridiculous amounts of stoke.

Thanks for having us! @gowhistler

A few snaps from the @uci_mtbworldseries practice on 1199 in Whistler. So cool getting a closer look at some of the track and watching the riders navigate challenging conditions!

Now that race season is over, it’s back to feature progression and ticking off some goals on my local mountain. Excited to build confidence on bigger features and get back to the kind of riding I love most!

Once a town defined by the production of its pulp and paper mill, Powell River has reinvented itself as one of the Sunshine Coast’s premier riding destinations. First gaining notoriety for its labyrinth of singletrack included in the 2010 edition of the BC Bike Race, Powell River has seen mountain biking take an established place, with rapid expansion of its surrounding trail networks in recent years.

“Though it’s situated on mainland Canada, Powell River feels like an island. Getting there requires at least two ferries and a winding drive from anywhere. Its character is also a function of a history that’s as rugged as the surrounding landscape,” writes Andrew Findlay.
