Delaney Quinn understands that taking the work seriously doesn’t mean losing the joy of doing it.

In GREAY’s latest Feature, the 11-year-old actor opens up about stepping into the world of Buddy, tracking Freddy’s emotional journey, finding healthy ways to leave difficult emotions with a character, and why some of her best lessons about acting still come from simply playing.

“I hope that they always believe.”

For Delaney, that may be the point. The work can still be play.

⏪ on 🪨 🎨 A recap from the first CONCRETE workshop STREET ART PAINT EDITION in Lower East Side. Thanks for the opportunity, support, interest, energy, and creative inspiration.
.
The 🗝️ was Presence.
.
Inspired by the colorways of @studio6.nyc gallery space, and the backdrop of art by Janz & Damon
.
Special 🙏🏼 to
🎨 @mtnshop_ny for sponsoring the paint … we have enough for an encore too 😉
🧰 🪨 🧤@rivingtonhardware for the supplies
.
@johanne.s.w workshop cohort + 📷
.
We experimented with new techniques, plenty of style molds to choose from.
.
We made cassettes, candle holders, trays, pillows, hearts, and enjoyed lots of letters. We had a 90% success rate … (it was 10 degrees after all).
.
We also have to celebrate the ones that didn’t quite make it. Don’t worry they all received a to-go kit and the silicone mold to take home with them and try again.
.
A successful workshop is when it’s a full class, 2 hours goes by and people don’t want to leave and even made friends to play a round of pool after 🎱
.
Overheard at the workshop
.
Do I have time to make another pieces?
.
Oh yeah. I already bought some concrete. It arrives Wednesday.
.
I have been wanting to do this for so long and finally learned the process. Thank you.
.
Damn. This was fun. I really need to get out more and do more things like this.
.
I already know what I want to make for next time
.
Do you accept commissions? 💃🏼 yes … and 🙏🏼

Last week, four of us—@carparttime, @tangible.space, @freakout.spot, and @wrong__house—gathered friends and colleagues from different parts of the New York universe for a holiday party at Car Part Time’s showroom (designed by Office of Tangible Space) and a kickoff of Wrong House’s Issue 04. Car collectors, designers, writers, photographers, tech heads, and music junkies—you all showed up. What a night! Big thanks to our sponsors @topochicousa and @threesbrewing for supporting the party cause, and @freakout.spot @jrussohwell @hundredeyes for keeping us well-supplied with tunes throughout the evening.

Photography @andrew_steinman

We’re talking SLOW in this issue… but Delaney Quinn clearly didn’t get the memo.
From Bupkis and Modern Love to The Roses with Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch — she’s been flying, not strolling. ✨
Fearless, funny, and always a step ahead, Delaney reminds us that slow can wait when the future is calling.
💫 Read her story by Enrico Fragale Esposito- available in Italian and English - in our latest issue of Scimparello Magazine — and don’t forget to follow her! @delaneyquinn
