Always a very interactive, interesting and informative demo with artist Andy Downes 😃

Thank you Andy for transporting your 'Studio' to Metal Art School for our Members & Guests to experiment with the vast array of the mixed medium products you shared, providing ideas for lots of different techniques that could add interest to our artworks.

From cloudy skies to brilliant sunshine, not just above our heads but also in our minds - leaving with a spring in our step from a relaxing, fun afternoon, taking away canvas boards with evidence of learning and maybe even a bit of glitter in our hair 😄

Southend City Jam in the news ✨️📰

Thank you @echo.essex for printing my photos from @southendcityjamofficial in today's newspaper! 🙏

Check out pages 20-23.

There's also an article about the event on pages 8&9. Plus photos from other local photographers Sue Jenkins and Julie Ann @silvertabbystevens . 🎉📸☀️

Well done to all the artists involved. I sent a selection of my photos from Friday and this is what they chose. ✨️
