La vida ha sido buena. 🫂

En el mes de mayo obtuve una beca para participar en el NOMAD's 2026 Leadership programme, que convoca @_xtant_ cada año.

Fueron días con enorme energía y aprendizajes. Lo mejor que me llevo de esta convivencia es la comunidad tan linda que se creó y la seguridad de que somos más de lo mismo. 💞 Gracias a @kavitaparmar por este tejido.

Para todxs ellxs, les dedico este sentimiento escrito en un día de actividad del programa.

En un mundo nublado y gris como este día,
habitan seres hermosos como el 𝘬𝘰𝘰 𝘺𝘢'𝘯𝘥𝘪.

Y𝘢'𝘯𝘥𝘪, se refiere a algo que irradia luz, color o brillo. Como un arcoiris.

Eso veo en ustedes, en nosotros. Un arcoiris circular con conocimientos, vivencias, familia y territorios, que nos permite iluminar la vida de alguien que está pasando por un día nublado y gris como hoy.

Nomad @_xtant_ 2026 began with an act of magic: a dance with the elements, a song for the rain.

Each time, each year, I move deeper into the vision, into the story we tell about preserving savoir-faire and humanity’s cultural treasures. With every edition, my role, our roles, become clearer. I know what to do. I follow the community’s movement. It feels like a dance.

I like to take time, face to face, to photograph the artists, to ensure the dance lasts and to keep a souvenir of the encounter.

Now that this edition has ended, I sense a shift. I feel myself transforming alongside everyone else. There is a whirlwind in my body, like the spiral they set in motion.

And I keep moving, with others, toward the same vision.

@angelchenwig A genius graduate of Central Saint Martins, a nomadic wanderer, a “Snow Monster mom,” and Amber’s “sister from another parents” — when I arrived at @_xtant_ , only its founder and curator @kavitaparmar knew who I was. But thanks to Angel, introductions were unnecessary; her reputation alone opened doors. People who adore her exclaimed, “Angel is back!”

📝 Our guest editor covering the Central Saint Martins BA Fashion show @yiling_zhao_ is a @fccsm alum based in London, bringing together Asian collaborators and talent as a director and movement director for fashion, film and music audiences.

📝 Working together with another guest editor @l.ailarose is a current @fccsm journalist who is a fashion writer at @thecoldmagazine & @713mag, also working at @vintagethreads_ldn on the branding & social media team.

Conocimos a Angel Chen @angelchenwig en XTANT 2026 @_xtant_ , en Palma de Mallorca. Pudimos compartir con ella la experiencia de entrar en contacto directo con nuestras fibras y sus diferentes texturas.

Eligió uno de nuestros lanzamientos, la ruana Puna Blanca, para acompañar su kimono rojo y pasear por Can Vivot, un palacio mallorquín del siglo XV.

We met Angel Chen around XTANT 2026 in Palma de Mallorca. We were able to share with her the experience of interacting directly with our fibers and their different textures.

She chose one of our new releases, the Ruana Puna Blanca, to complement her red kimono while walking gracefully through Can Vivot, a 15th-century Mallorcan palace.
