If I’m being honest, I really thought this year’s @benweidernaturals would be my last show… forever or at least for a long time. I had been in prep for the majority the year and leading up to this show, I wasn’t sure I had another season left in me. I felt the weight of the sacrifices I was making to compete, and honestly, a big part of me just wanted to feel “normal” again.

But then I look at stage pictures and remember all the feels - the good days, the hard days, the days I wrote to my coach “I am living my best life,” and the days I wrote “I’m really struggling.” And it seemed like all the best feelings overlapped. They existed right alongside the hardest moments… the struggles made the joys mean that much more.

But the ultimate best feeling, the one I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life was stepping off stage right after this photo was taken, grabbing my phone, and seeing messages from my kids sent while I was was doing my individual routine..

“Go mommy!”
“WOW you look amazing mommy”
“You did it”
“Your muscles are so big!”
“So proud of you Mommy!”

As a mom, nothing fills your heart more than your kids proudly cheering you on…I remember almost getting emotional in the lineup before walking out for call-outs because everything that happened to get to this point finally made sense... even the choice I made to buy all my kids devices 😆

So what’s next for me?

I’m not done. You will see me on stage again. When? That’s for my coach and I to decide. I’m taking some time to be more present in other areas of my life at the moment, while continuing to chase a better version of me.

And as for wanting to feel “normal” again… I’m starting to realize that maybe THIS is my normal. The stage doesn’t take anything away from you, you sacrifice a lot to get up there, but somehow you end up getting so much more in return 🫶🏻

&&& just like that, we are back in business baby!! What a peak week! From finding out on Monday that I passed the Florida Bar Exam to stepping on stage for my pro debut just days later, I I truly couldn’t have asked for more. Two huge milestones in two totally different professional worlds, and I feel like I’m in a fever dream. The high I feel is a feeling I don’t think I’ll ever top!!!⚖️💜

There’s so much more I want to share about this weekend, but for now, I just want to thank every single one of you who reached out and supported me both on and off the stage. It means everything to me, and it never goes unnoticed.

To my love, @dillonhayes27 thank you for being by my side through it all, from prepping my meals to putting up with every mood swing along the way.😅

And to my coach, @ccash15_ifbbpro thank you for sticking with me through the many life events that put the stage on hold. We finally made it and it feels incredible! It was definitely worth the wait!

One more time to run it before taking time to grow but this time, the comeback will be much sooner than later.😌

Non seulement on se complète ultra bien mais, ensemble, on est devenu l’équipe puissante dont j’ai toujours rêvé!
