witches, werewolves and vampires tag 🧙‍♀️🐺🧛‍♀️
(made by me🤭)

I made this book tag last year and with it officially being spooky month I thought I’d bring it back!!

🩸 blood drinker: a book you enjoyed that isn’t your usual taste
* coldwire by chloe gong + daggermouth by hm wolfe - I didn’t used to like dystopian but these books have completely changed my opinion, I’ve read so many since!

🌑 full moon: a book you didn’t like at first but then changed your mind
* the poison daughter by sheila masterson - I had no clue where this book was going at first but the second half was unreal

🐺 wolves strength: what magical power would you want in a book?
* if I was in a wholesome cosy fantasy i’d want to be connected to the earth so like plants, growth and water etc
* if I was in an epic fantasy I’d quite like either telepathy because I feel like they’re always so cool, they’re usually used for evil though so I apologise

🦔 witches familiar: a book with your favourite animal sidekick
* sorae from kindreds curse saga is my fav
* cronus, taissa’s cockatrice in the winged game

🧄 garlic to a vampire: a trope you hate in a book
* insta-love, I actually don’t mind insta-lust but when there’s been no development, they’ve known each other four days and they’re apparently madly in love
* currently the resurrection trope because I’ve read it too many times

🧪 cauldrons and potions: a book you would reread if you could wipe your memory
* jasad crown by sara hashem
* the winged game by sophie kim
* heartless by marissa meyer
* love, theoretically by ali hazelwood
* before i let go by kennedy ryan
* iron widow by xiran jay zhao

✨ this is the skin of a killer bella: a book that’s a guilty pleasure
i do not feel guilty about any books I read but……
* the wolf and the crown of blood by elizabeth may - spicier than my usual books but I had fun
* the school for good and evil - not guilty just a comfort series I always come back to

✨ I’ve tagged a few but no pressure !!!
