For the past 22 yrs, I have dedicated my life to this sport. It introduced me to a community that welcomed me w open arms. Basketball shaped me into the young woman I am today. This sport gifted me with lifelong mentors and blessed me with some of the most genuine friendships.

But just like any other success story, there’s always a handful of people that stick beside you from start to finish… for me it was my parents. Sacrificing so much just to make sure we make it to trainings, practice, and games. Doing alll that while still giving us with a fun childhood and raising good hearted kids. I always knew they were somewhere in the stands waiting to record us play. There wasn’t a game too far they couldn’t make it to.

As I welcome this new person I am without basketball, I will be forever grateful and cherish the experiences and people I have met up until this point. Couldn’t ask for a better way to close this chapter of my life. Thank you God for the path that you have chosen for me, as I will continue to follow you through my adult years, hand and hand. 🙏🏼 🫶🏼❤️🏀
