There is so much to say I couldn’t possibly fit it all in this caption!
I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to be awarded the 2026 Scott Richardson Scholarship.
It is a privilege to be surrounded by all of the incredibly talented guest chefs, the members of the trust who put so much work into this event each year, our wonderful Southland community, and the three inspirational women who have received this scholarship before me.
Thank you to my mentor and role model Brit for believing in me and guiding me along my journey so far, we have an incredible year ahead of us, and I am so excited to see where these opportunities take me!!!
I also want to thank Lee, Ethan, Sam and Pen for being so passionate and encouraging me to pursue my goals across the sea!

share what’s giving you life right now 🫶

for me it’s….
1. min of 3 sauna sessions a week - at my gym or scenic spots like @watershedsaunas
2. second breakfast treats, loving @hubbards new protein-packed Museli
3. Running while listening to audiobooks, currently re-reading ACOTAR to prepare for the next release
4. Adding in @drinkdaeli hydration packets to my daily routine especially during hyrox & sauna sessions
5. saying yes to social events & not skipping because mom life/too cold/too tired excuses *photo from Aprés launch party at STACKS @hiltonqueenstown
6. Believing in myself to try new avenues of photo work, I had so much fun shooting @coalpitwine
7. Acting like a kid every chance I get, knowing how happy it makes my kids, but also my heart
8. Tackling my closet and selling/donating items that are connected to people who aren’t in my life anymore. And using that $$ to buy myself pieces that bring me joy! I love selling @recycleboutiquenz
9. Winter moon rises over the snowy mountains, the perfect way to appreciate the simple beauties of our universe.

We are a women’s team. This community (Porto Protocol) includes dozens of women helping shape a better future. We have the privilege of working with extraordinary, inspiring ones who fuel our work. All are special. But as a team, we want to honour a few who — often without even knowing it — act as guiding lights. They inspire, challenge, and push us to do better. They are one of a kind.
