It was a perfect night to celebrate entrepreneurship in Pittsburgh on Tuesday as we hosted our Founder’s Flex Happy Hour @eastendbrewing!

Executive Director Anneliese mingled with entrepreneurs like Jonathan, founder of @healhomie.

And our Comms & Ops Administrator atiya served for the camera with Perforated AI’s Ralph.

While incubation grads Rina of Katch Sports and Roger of Hardly caught up on the latest in life and business.

Board members Lara, Jeanette, and Caitlin posed with our Operations Director Christina.

And some new faces joined us from @startuppgh for refreshing beers and out of this world pizza.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and East End for being wonderful hosts.

Hope to see everyone again soon!

Startup Week has brought out the city’s biggest names, and they’re all pointing at Oakland and Pittsburgh as the place to build right now.

Four days in, and the energy hasn’t slowed down.

🎉✨ Meet our Rider of the Month, Anneliese!✨🎉

From day one, she’s found her groove at Steelhouse, trading a corporate vibe for a strong community spirit! ❤️🚴‍♀️ What keeps her coming back? A reminder that spinning is about fun, growth, and celebrating every ride—tears, laughs, and all!

Anneliese is a cartoon connoisseur! 📚✨ Collecting illustration books and diving deep into the world of cell animation any day of the week. How cool is that? 🤓💖

When it comes to her favorite music, you can’t go wrong with Soulwax, Scissor Sisters, Lil Kim, and some disco flavor! 🎶 If she’s riding with Tia, she’s not mad about hearing some rock music!

Outside of spin, shes enjoys spending time outdoors with her pup Ruby and partner Andy, weaving on her 8 harness floor loom, unwinding with wine, and binge-watch movies. 🍷🐶🎬 Whether it’s yoga, strength training, or boxing, she’s got the fitness spirit covered! 🔥💪

Favorite time of the day to ride? 4:45 baby! 🕟😄

Join us in celebrating this vibrant member of our community! 🥳💖 #RiderOfTheMonth #SteelhouseFamily #CommunityVibes

Thank you to the more than 200 awesome people who have purchased this book! I am truly humbled by the overwhelming response it’s received & the magical time it’s been. THANK YOU 🙏

Believe it or not, fewer than 20 total books & mugs remain — and they’re both available to ship on quietstormbook.com now! New goal: sell out by the new year?
Each ships with limited edish owl stickers; with shipping & very personal handling, books are $35, mugs $20.

Quiet Storm Book is here!
Join author-publisher Jilly MacDowell (me) for a book pickup-n-pizza party at East End Brewing/Chewing on Tues, Dec 5!
The brewery just launched winter hours so come in between 5-10pm for:

• pre-ordered books for the supporters who selected “pick-up”
• any remaining books for sale there & then ($25)
• Quiet Storm mugs ($10) too!

East End Chewing will commemorate the occasion with a one-night only special vegan pizza by chef Sheryl: The Ginger Sunflower (sesame vinaigrette, vegan mozzarella, sweet potato, broccoli, Quiet Storm Scrambled Tofu, peanut ginger drizzle & sunflower seeds). $21 whole, $7 slice.
Wash down yr za with some newly released Snow Melt Winter Ale or a Barmy Cranberry Lime Soda!
Or you can just pick up your book & go home to be alone with it. I understand.
Otherwise, come say hi on Tues, Dec 5, 5-10pm @eastendbrewing, 147 Julius St in Larimer.

*If you cannot make it on Dec 5, your book will be left at EEB for pickup at your convenience (bring ID). Do note their hours & please don’t leave your book there too long!
