#TRAVELTHURSDAY with Abby and Anna from Copenhagen! 🇩🇰

Abby: “For my project, I am working with Miljøpunkt Amager, an organization that encourages living a eco-conscious lifestyle with engaging workshops. Their next project is Mission Blue Ocean Copenhagen, which focused on water pollution in the Amager area. Our team is helping identify key sources of water pollution through research and interviews with experts in the area.

Outside of my project, I am enjoying the city and site seeing! They have fantastic food here and I love trying the new cafes and restaurants around. I’ve also traveled to Rødvig, which in the countryside of Denmark and I’m looking forward to my trip to Vienna, Greece, and Italy!”

Anna: “For my project, I’m working with Cycling Without Age which is a nonprofit organization that focuses on proving elderly and those with limited mobility the opportunity to get outside and involved in the community through the use of trishaw bikes piloted by volunteers. It’s a global organization based in Copenhagen, Denmark that is currently moving towards a centralized volunteer management system. My project group is assigning in the software transition and creating user guides for onboarding.

When I’m not working, I love to read in parks, bike around the city, and try new cafes! Copenhagen is absolutely beautiful, and I’ve had an absolute blast here. On the weekends, my cohort travels to different cities in Europe like Amsterdam, Vienna, Hamburg, and Budapest to name a few!”
