🇬🇧 We are delighted to announce that Artpoint got the chance to organize a digital art exhibition for LVMH at la Gaîté Lyrique for a day dedicated to artificial intelligence! Featured artist: @anna_dart !
Anna Dart is a multidisciplinary artist, curator and futurist who focuses on promoting ecological, cultural and social sustainability through the intersection of new technology. With over 11 years of painting experience, her art is known for expressiveness that reflects on digital humanism. Interested in psychological portrait, her art shows us different characters with their fantasies and passions; paintings full of sensitivity, melancholy, and a delicate sensuality.

„The Dancing Baby achieved its original goal of inspiring creativity“ - @cnn

It is 2022. Post Covid. Because of covid measures, we struggled with restricted projects in an empty gallery space. We were looking to release projects online and shift our focus to digital art projects and new technologies.
After months of working and thousand international calls we were finally able to share our biggest gallery project so far: The release of the worlds first meme as digital collectible: Tha Dancing Baby

Together with the original creator team from 1996 we released the dancing baby with the help from @withfoundation - The Dancing Baby is considered one of the earliest viral videos in internet history and turned into a cultural phenomenon in the 90s. Up to this day the Dancing Baby remains the unmatched visual reference to internet nostalgia.

To set the Dancing Baby in perspective we invited contemporary 3D artists and animators to remix the Dancing Baby. The project made waves on international media from @cnnbrasil , @buzzfeed to @indianexpress and many many many more.

To celebrate the impact of the Dancing Baby we continued to work on the project and invited more artists to recreate their version of the worlds first meme. This drop is going online today at 3PM (NYC) and we couldn’t be more proud of another international artist line up: @baugasm @riniifishw @anchorball @rogerhaus @anna_dart @fidjey_ @parsa.mostaghim @somfay

Artist Spotlight from Recollection. AI and Memory in collaboration with @expanded.art

We present to you two artists from our current exhibition RECOLLECTION. AI AND MEMORY.
@never_ever_never_land and @anna_dart

Roope Rainisto is a Finnish artist, designer, and photographer with a passion for storytelling. Rainisto’s work explores the boundaries between the real and the virtual, combining AI-generation procedures with traditional art methods, creating artworks that strive to invoke emotional impact in their viewers.
His latest NFT collection LIFE IN WEST AMERICA ranks amongst one of the highest-valued AI art collections. He is the winner of Claire Silver’s 2nd AI art contest.
Previous to his current art career, Rainisto had a prestigious 25-year career as a professional designer. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Information Networks from the Helsinki University of Technology.

Anna Dart is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and futurist who focuses on promoting ecological, cultural, and social sustainability through the intersection of new technologies. Her art is known for its minimal style and powerful expressiveness that reflects digital humanism.
A guest artist at The Picasso Museum and at digital fashion house The Fabricant, Dart bridges traditional art and the Metaverse, finding inspiration in drama, dance, and the architecture of Antoni Gaudí. She has turned her passion for Surrealism into the engine behind the collaborative project Exquisite Workers, promoting co-creation, female empowerment, and artistic patronage since 2020.
In 2021, Dart curated the first NFT exhibition at the UN. In 2022, she was nominated as the Best Traditional Artist turned NFT Artist at NFT.NYC. In the same year, she won the 1st Claire Silver AI Contest. This led to her exhibiting at prestigious events such as Art Basel Miami, NFT Korea Festival, and NFT Paris with SuperChief NFT Gallery.

In the exhibition RECOLLECTION. AI AND MEMORY, artists explore the idea of challenging the concreteness of human memory-personal or collective-through creative collaboration with Al.

EXPANDED.ART turns Web3 inside out and expands the notion of a gallery and an online marketplace by being both. The focus is on the history of digital art and supporting female and non-binary artists. Art is made collective for everyone by offering NFTs and time-limited and limited editions. As a gallery.
