And that’s a wrap on New York Climate Week!!

Like a lot of people, I have mixed feelings towards events like this: Why is it the same people saying the same things every year? Does talking even change anything? Why are so many people and so many subjects still excluded??

But existential dread aside, these moments are so important to refuel and remind ourselves that there are sooooo many other brilliant souls who care and are doing their best, even when the odds seem stacked against us. Grateful to do this work and to be in these spaces 🫶🏻

I had the honour of hosting the Identity Through Fashion panel talk for @jeans_for_genes at Glasgow Caledonian University London🙏🏻 🎤
Jeans for Genes is an incredible charity helping to raise awareness and provide support for children living with genetic conditions. With 1 in 25 children in the UK affected, their work ensures that these young people feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
A huge thank you to @stephenlibby, @dominic_mua and @annafoster for joining me on the panel. Your honesty, insight and personal perspectives made for such an inspiring conversation. It was so interesting to hear about the role fashion can play in shaping identity, confidence and self-expression.
Thank you also to @elvdenim, @nickede and @vincawine for supporting the event, and to Glasgow Caledonian University for hosting us.

Fashion can be beautiful, creative and entertaining, but sometimes it can also become a platform for conversations that really matter👖🤍

I was invited to @jeans_for_genes - the Jeans for Genes Day 2026 launch at Glasgow Caledonian University London - @glasgow_caledonian_university , right on Fashion Street in Shoreditch.

The evening brought together fashion, creativity and purpose through a special panel discussion, “Identity Through Fashion”, featuring Dominic Skinner, BBC Glow Up judge and makeup artist - @dominic_mua , and Anna Foster - @annafoster , founder of E.L.V. Denim - @elvdenim , hosted by Hayley Karseras, aka Lady of the Manor - @ladyofthemanor77

We also celebrated the launch of this year’s limited-edition Jeans for Genes T-shirt, designed by Stephen Libby - @stephenlibby and his partner Daniel Quirke - @daniel.a.quirke

For those who may not know, Jeans for Genes raises awareness of genetic conditions and supports organisations working with children and families affected by them across the UK.

I receive many requests to support different causes and unfortunately can’t share them all, but I was genuinely happy to accept this invitation. It connected an important cause with the industry I’ve worked in for so many years and showed once again how fashion can help start meaningful conversations and bring people together.

PS: The dress code was “A Dash of Denim”…
Well, I think I followed the assignment about 100%. 😂👖

If you want guests who actually respect your dress code - invite me😁😌
