Introducing MA creatives exhibiting on the 20th October at @morleygallery

Anna Booth
Anna sees the world through a viewfinder but has extended her practice into printmaking as a natural balance in an increasingly digital world. The focus of her photography has been urban and rural landscape and her project examines any disconnection between the city and countryside views of nature.

Printmaking is a medium which she can use to bring materiality into her artwork to emphasise the narrative and she has been experimenting with the use of such materials as earth pigment and plant-based paints and inks, threads, and veils.

MA Creative Practice Final Show
Morley Gallery Waterloo
Opening event 20th October 6-8pm
Exhibition Open 21st October - 31st October

Launched in October 2025 and validated by Ravensbourne University London, the MA Creative Practice programme builds on Morley College London’s long-standing commitment to accessible, inclusive and socially engaged arts education. Founded in 1889, Morley has a rich history of nurturing creativity, critical thinking and cultural participation across generations, and the MA extends this tradition into postgraduate study.

The programme brings together creative practitioners with diverse specialisms within an interdisciplinary and collaborative learning environment. Student-centred and responsive in its approach, MA Creative Practice continues to evolve with each cohort, shaped by the diverse experiences, interests and ambitions of those who study here. Bringing together learners from different professional, generational and cultural, backgrounds, the course fosters experimentation, dialogue, peer learning and the development of ambitious creative projects rooted in both practice and research.

The MA Creative Practice 2026 exhibition marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the achievements of our first graduating cohort, alongside works in progress by the current part-time students. Together, the exhibition reflects the breadth of contemporary interdisciplinary practice, exploring themes of identity, memory, belonging, social justice, representation and cultural change through diverse media, methodologies and forms of engagement.
We are immensely proud of all our MA students for their commitment, generosity and creative courage. We wish our graduates every success as they continue to develop their practices beyond Morley College and look forward to following their future achievements as part of our growing MA Creative Practice alumni community.
