Today in Genoa, we celebrated two important milestones in our fleet’s development: the float out of EXPLORA V and the coin ceremony of EXPLORA VI at @fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente shipyard.

The float out marks EXPLORA V’s first time meeting the water, while the coin ceremony honours a longstanding maritime tradition. Commemorative coins are placed inside the ship as a symbol of good fortune throughout her construction and future at sea.

@annarnash, President of Explora Journeys, is the godmother of EXPLORA VI and placed the commemorative coins inside the ship.

Two milestones bringing us closer to completing our six-ship fleet in 2028 — but this is far from the end. There is still much more to come as we continue building the future of Explora Journeys.

From 9-16 December, our first President’s Journey aboard EXPLORA II will sail from Barcelona to Tenerife*, offering a unique opportunity to experience the Ocean State of Mind from the perspective of our President, Anna Nash.

The Journey reflects Anna’s own rhythm, from morning walks and intimate dinners to conversations shaped by her interests in culture, food and design.

At its heart is listening. Guests will have the opportunity to exchange perspectives with Anna and members of the Explora Journeys leadership team, exploring what matters most across culinary, wellbeing, destinations and ship experiences, as well as the future of ocean travel.

A collection of special experiences will take place throughout the Journey, from private access to The Convent in Gibraltar and a signature Destination Experience in Casablanca, to intimate dinners, limited-capacity events and invitation-only gatherings.

Discover the President’s Journey via the link in bio.

*Anna will be onboard EXPLORA II from 9 to 15 December.

Entertainment on @explorajourneys Explora III is all about creating the right atmosphere, from live music to intimate performances and everything in between. I sat down with the Entertainment Manager Emily Love to go behind the scenes and learn what it takes to bring the ship to life each night. A great conversation about the people, planning, and passion behind the entertainment experience

“The sea has been a huge part of my life. I have a feeling it still has a few more stories to write.” ⚓️

Some time ago, Captain Gennaro Arma shared these words as he announced the end of a remarkable 28-year chapter with Princess Cruises.

Twenty-eight years of ships, oceans, challenges, achievements and, above all, extraordinary people. A journey that saw him grow from a young officer into Captain and become part of so many unforgettable moments at sea.

Then, as in life and in the sea, there comes a time to change course.

Today, that new course has a name: Explora Journeys.

And a ship: Explora I 💙

A new chapter begins at the helm, bringing with it decades of experience and a deep passion for the sea.

From one chapter closing to a new story waiting to be written. It seems the sea still had a few more stories to tell.

✨ WHAT A NIGHT! ✨

For the first time ever on Explora Journeys, our very own show, “The Dance That Made Us,” made its debut — and we received not one, but TWO standing ovations! ❤️

It was an absolute pleasure to share our love of dance and our love story with everyone, and to feel such an incredible reaction from the audience. Moments like this make all the hard work worth it. 🥹❤️

We would like to say a huge thank you to the people who helped make this possible:

🙏 Our amazing Cruise Director Emily Love, for believing in us and giving us the opportunity to bring our show to life.

🙏 The incredible Explora Journeys tech team, for all your hard work and support behind the scenes.

❤️ And to all our wonderful friends who came to support us — having you there made the night even more special!

This is only the beginning… ✨

There are places that make an evening special. And then there are the people who make it truly unforgettable. The other evening, in the beautiful setting of Boccadasse, with the sea and the sunset as a breathtaking backdrop, I had the pleasure of attending an exclusive dinner hosted by the Explora Journeys team together with members of the international media.

It was one of those rare occasions when the pace of the day gives way to meaningful conversations, genuine connections, and the opportunity to get to know one another beyond the usual business setting. Because, beyond the ships and the destinations, it is always people who make the real difference.

One of the highlights of the evening was the pleasure of meeting @AnnarNash, President of Explora Journeys, and sharing a few moments of conversation with her in an atmosphere that was both elegant and wonderfully relaxed.

I leave with wonderful memories, new connections, and the reminder that the world of travel is, above all, about relationships, passion, and shared experiences.

My sincere thanks to @ExploraJourneys for the invitation and for an evening I will remember with great pleasure.

#talkies #talkieslifestyle #talkiesmagazine #explorajourneys #sailgp
