Such a fun afternoon painting Pupsicles with these sweet little artists! 🎨🐶🍦
I loved watching each of them take the same painting and make it completely their own. We painted with acrylics, added lots of fun little details, and ended up with three adorable and very different Pupsicles! 💕
There’s just something special about creating together. I loved every minute of it! 🥰🎨 #nicoleestesstudio #kidspaintingclass #pupsicle

2026 so far: messy, sweet, loud, wholesome, and full of little things that actually made life feel good 🫶🏼✨

• book club counts as self care 📚
• babywearing = upper body strength training 💪🏼
• consignment shopping is basically a personality trait now 🛍️
• Culver’s should honestly sponsor me 🍔
• thriving and surviving can happen at the same time 😂

Just saying “thank you” doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel about this community. The long time friends turned shoppers, repeat customers season after season, workers who work SO HARD and selflessly, shoppers who have so much patience and kindness, and of course my family. You truly are the BEST thing✨😇 happy thanksgiving, West Knox and beyond!

Nomads trek the desert in search of water from deep within the earth while I refresh my phone within the AC’d van. If they aren’t nomads now, talk to them long enough, and you’ll hear stories of ancestors who were.

In the bustling markets, traders, some as young as 10 or 11, barter their garlic, dates, and spices. Their bare feet sink into the hot sand as they effortlessly switch between languages—French, Arabic, and a dialect I can’t recognize.

Did they know we were on our way? It’s not just a handshake waiting for you every new place you arrive—it’s mint tea, shelled nuts, and the way they pull my children into their laps. I expect my kids to refuse, but instead, they lean into the embrace.

Morocco’s authenticity shines through its ancient Kasbahs and the light-hearted yet passionate spirit of its people—Berber, Arab, Gnawa—united by pride and friendship. Are they friends, brothers, or strangers? It’s truly hard to tell.

From the balcony of my riad, I watch the same older man in the same chair for about an hour. He makes and sells baskets, chatting while weaving, hardly looking down at the basket taking shape. When he finishes, he tosses the basket onto the pile, leaves his booth for a minute, and returns with a melon. He asks his neighbor to his left to wash it and his neighbor to his right to cut it. He divides the melon, taking a piece for himself and giving pieces to his neighbors.

I walk down and pick out the basket from the top of the pile. He looks at the basket for the first time and tells me eighty dirham, less than ten dollars. I want to offer more, but I pay him what he asks. He gives me my change and asks if I like it here. I tell him I do. He gives me the remaining piece of melon.

This is Morocco in 80 photos, but I have thousands I would love to share! 🤪

Thank you to Positively Morocco Tours for showing us around your country for a week and becoming friends for life!!! 🩵
