This blog post holds a special place in my heart because it talks about my family being my caregivers you’ll hear me mention @jessicaoppenhuizen we may not have the same last name or the same parents but she’s one of them because of the DEEP care for me she has for me and my family and the deep connection we have that holds a special in my heart. She’s had to worry along side my parents and brother if I would be okay after every surgery, doc apt or test . The moral support she brings to my life is something I treasure every day

Hi my name is Annabelle and I am 22 years old with special needs and in a wheelchair full time. But I am completely unashamed of the way I live with a disability and because God made me the way he made you and I am perfectly capable of living life to the fullest and I may do things differently but I am completely unashamed of my differences in my life none of it bothers me. It makes me proud to walk on wheels and it makes me proud to have special needs because I can show others my Jesus I serve make NO MISTAKES he made me wonderfully and amazing and I am proud of it. Yeah I also have hydrocephalus but that doesn’t bother me either at all it makes me proud. I hope you enjoy the things I write about and seeing what’s it’s like having special needs and having a DEEP friendship with Jesus because it’s beautiful and this is my normal❤️

Baptism! Annabelle’s big day! She chose her sis Jessica, Laken and her YL leader’s Micaela and Jordan to walk up with her! We are so proud of her for choosing to profess her faith! Annabelle has always always had a close relationship with the Lord. She has felt his nearness since she was little. Her faith is one of the big reasons that Jon and I believe. He has worked miracles throughout her life journey and we know how He watches over her. Feeling hugely blessed that family and friends came to celebrate with us! Thank you to Pastor Rufus!
