Meet DAKOTA!

Dakota is pretty vocal with me, pretty sure he is just stubborn and wants what he wants when wants! Although he did catch onto the daily life here/schedule almost instantly!!! He enjoys playing catch and also being my biggest shadow. Here is to another new pup friend! 🐶 💙

He was referred by another pup client. So thankful! Dakota and his family have brought some peace to me in ways I cannot explain❤️

One year has passed since are sweet Faith left this world. Even though our time together was short, the impact she had was so big. She lit up every room she walked into without even trying, and being around her just felt easy. I miss you every day, more than words can explain, and I love you always.

In this past year I’ve learned something and that is grief doesn’t have a timeline, and it’s okay that it still hurts. Missing someone means they mattered, and Faith mattered so much and it’s okay to talk to someone about it it’s okay to cry.I hold onto the hope that one day we’ll reunite, and until then, I’ll keep carrying her with me.

For anyone struggling with their mental health: please please reach out to someone. You are not a burden, and you are not alone. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and you are loved by more people than you realize. You are worth more. 💗 #LLF

It’s been a year with out the most beautiful soul, Faith Enderle. I miss her everyday, I miss her laugh, her heart, I miss having a long distance best friend who I could tell anything too, i miss finding her bib number in live timing so I could keep up with the races instead of doing my school work, I miss my best friend, the girl who always was willing to chat even on the hardest days, i miss her when Beastie Boys comes on and when I can’t help but sing to “could you be loved” by Bob Marley, I miss laughing till we couldn’t breathe, and I miss her when I see her beauty in the stars, in the sunsets, but especially on the mountain. The world is not a better place without you here faithy, your love and your compassion and your heart for everyone is so missed in this world, and especially in my world. I can’t wait till I can see you again and just hug you and hold you in my arms. But until then I will keep missing you, and I will miss you forever. Rest easy my sweet girl. I love you.

The first-ever 5B Hike for Hope was an overwhelming success, and our hearts are full!

We had 50 volunteers, 250 registered participants, and raised over $50,000 for suicide prevention and mental health in our community because of YOU!! What a beautiful day to come together.

We created a safe and nurturing space to connect, share hope, and remember those we’ve lost. From soaking up the sunshine and listening to music by Seth London with his band Butterstick & then The Hurdy Gurdy Girls, to getting a calming acupuncture session, then connecting with a myriad of mental health resources, the day was truly restorative. It filled our cups, and we can’t wait for the next one!

Faithy,
your spirit lives on. We felt your beauty during this hike of remembrance with the ones you loved and will continue to feel your presence as we adventure through the life you cherished. I miss you, we miss you, and I cannot wait until we meet again.

These 5 months have been full of heart ache, but I am at ease knowing you are with the lord, and fulfilled with the eternal peace that you truly deserve.

Everything happens. All at once and all the time. And the world spins madly on.

Fires blaze, wars are waged, and a fate you wouldn’t wish on a worst enemy becomes the reality of your life-long best friend.

But we keep on, attempting the next right thing.

The shop is open as always. And you’re welcome exactly as you are. Come to observe, reflect, find calm in chaos, or remember there is beauty and always has been even in darkness or sorrow.

Go slow. Be gentle with one another and yourselves. Hope to see and connect with you in real life in 2025. 🤍

Dear Faith,

I have been struggling to put into words all my thoughts and feelings since you left. Our hearts are breaking, and the pain of missing you is deep and raw. Yet amidst all this, I have found moments of peace, beauty, and even humor in remembering you.

I think of the goofy little girl who made funny faces in almost every photo on my phone. I remember your incredible athleticism and the joy of cheering for you and your teammates over the years. I hold dear our river adventures, always in awe of your and Riley’s bravery on the water. I smile at the memory of your hand-me-downs, which you so kindly shared with Regan—your style was always the best. And I treasure the quiet chats we shared this summer on my couch, moments that now feel even more precious.

I am beyond thankful to have these memories and will always hold them close to my heart.

Faith, please watch over us now. Remind us to be open with our thoughts and feelings. Remind us to seek real connections and to ask hard questions. Encourage us to smile at a stranger, to believe that we are always enough, and to reach out to a friend, family member, teacher, coach, or 988 when we need help. Inspire us to live life to the fullest and to love deeply.

Today we celebrated the wonderful life you lived faithy. I am so grateful for the time I spent with you sweet girl and I will cherish those moments forever.
