i can’t seem to set up an official fundraiser on here…but my birthday is coming up in two weeks and i would like to wish for donations to Animals as Natural Therapy @ant_bellingham. the link to donate is in my bio.

this summer, i had the absolute privilege of interning as a mentor on the ANT farm during their summer day camp programs. not only did i get to know and build my own relationships with the equines, cow, pig, goats, bunnies, chickens, and barn kitties on the farm, i got to help children learn about how to express themselves and build trust and healthy relationships with each other and their animal friends. i could go on and on about how this experience has personally benefitted me, but what is really important is how many people ANT has impacted in our Whatcom County community since 1999. In addition to programs benefiting children, ANT brings farm animals to memory care and assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools, just to name a few, through their Mobile ANT program, which i also volunteer with. they are also providing a free 4-week wellness workshop series for veterans, starting on the 24th. ANT is something i so deeply wish i had as a child, and i am so grateful for the healing it has offered me in this season of my life. the staff and other volunteers are truly wonderful people who care deeply about the wellbeing of their participants as well as the animals—and the animals are kind and gentle teachers and friends in return. i’d like to thank you for reading all this, and if you do happen to donate, please let me know in the comments and i will show my gratitude by replying with a photo i have taken of an animal(s) on the farm (i have a lot, of course). if you cannot donate, please consider sharing! thank you again.

WECU Encore Award Winner Announcement!
We’re excited to wrap up our 2026 Pour It Forward initiative at Trackside! It was so much fun bringing together good times and good impact all summer long, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us along the way.
We wrapped up the initiative with Noche Mercadito, hosted by Vamos Outdoors Project, and it was such a fun way to bring the summer to a close.
And now, for the Community Encore Awards results!
A total of 442 votes were cast to choose which participating nonprofit would receive an additional $1,000 donation from WECU. The winner was…
Animals as Natural Therapy!
A huge congratulations to them and thank you to all of the incredible organizations that participated: Vamos Outdoors Project, Whatcom Dream, Sustainable Connections and Bells Community Foundation.
From raising a glass to supporting local nonprofits, we loved every minute of Pour It Forward. Thanks to everyone who helped us make a little more impact in our community this summer!
Cheers!

We always enjoy a visit from our friends at Animals as Natural Therapy! 🐴🐐🐇

Residents recently spent time with horses, rabbits, goats and the ever-popular chickens. Visits like these bring plenty of smiles and give residents a chance to connect with some very special four-legged and feathered friends.

Thank you, Animals as Natural Therapy, for another wonderful visit! 🐓❤️

@ant_bellingham visits the Ferndale Clubhouse!

Kids got to feed and hold chickens, pet bunnies, hug a mule, and brush goats. For many, it was their very first time interacting with these animals.

Thank you to Animals as Natural Therapy for sharing the joy, comfort, and connection that animals bring with our Club youth!
