September was a bit of a rollercoaster. My birthday month taught me to trust my instincts, value my power, protect my peace, and surround myself with people who will show up for me.

Come From Away at Moonlight Amphitheater

This is your dance captain speaking…
It’s been a joy being a part of this incredible company. I’ve learned so much swinging three characters and dance captaining this show that I’ve been dreaming to work on for years. Thank you to the creative team and @stevenglaudini for inviting me to be a part of this. Thank you to our INCREDIBLE swing nation @tymcb @melmuse95 & Nick for the support as we tried to do the hardest thing. And to @melglas it’s been a joy to support your artistry. Thank you for bringing me along!

Come From Away is one of those shows that will stick with me for the rest of my life. There’s nothing like performing a true ensemble show; working together as a cohesive storytelling machine. I can’t think of a better group of artists to carve this powerful piece with. @genocarr Thank you for the opportunity to step into your Oz shoes and guiding us to success, forever grateful for this. @melglas thank you for bringing grounding flow to our silly little skit. @randiellen17 your masterful musical guidance is the true rock of our show. @stevenglaudini and @moonlightstage thank you for producing this phenomenal show in a way that will keep touching hearts for years to come. Proud to be a Newfoundlander now and forever. Farewell to The Rock 🪑🐟✈️

Final boarding call for Gander, Newfoundland tonight.
It’s been an honor and privilege to tell the story of Come From Away to thousands of people at a theatre that has meant so much to me since I was a little girl. I am so immensely grateful to Geno, Randi, and Melissa for their trust in me, and their patience with us as we put this piece together at whirlwind speed. Thanks to Steve, Shelby, and the whole Moonlight team of designers and staff for making this theatre such a joy to work at time and time again. To the band, you all blow my socks off every day with your talent. Thanks to Stan, Lex, DJ, and our amazing crew for keeping this plane steady (extra shoutout to DJ for making this even more fun with our shownanigans). And to this cast, I cannot put into words how grateful I am for each and every one of you. This process, even in the weeds of which chair goes where, was an absolute joy because of all of you. One of the most talented, fun, and kind casts I’ve ever been lucky enough to be a part of. I will miss this show and these people so much.
Beulah, Delores, and Lyle the Cat signing off.
