Our hearts are heavy. What happened at Sepulveda Middle School is something no community should ever have to face. No child should feel the need to pick up a gun. No family should have to carry that fear. At Heart of the 818, we stand for peace, unity, and protecting the future of our Valley — our kids. This isn’t just a moment. It’s a call for awareness, for conversation, and for real change. We have to come together as a community — parents, neighbors, leaders — to guide, protect, and uplift our youth. Lay down hate. Lift up peace. The 818 is more than an area code… it’s home. And we look out for our own. #818 #sanfernandovalley #northhills #protectourkids #heartofthe818

Shoutout to @duckysofficial for printing these out. They wasted no time getting these made for us, and also managed to get every little detail that was designed. Everyone that’s looking to get stickers made should pay them a visit. They also have supplies for all Street Artists here in the Valley. Thank you @duckysofficial #818 #sanfernandovalley #heartofthe818 #PANORAMACITY #DUCKYS

Gravity Hill: IYKYK This design was inspired by the myth of Gravity Hill in Sylmar, a place woven into 818 folklore and teenage memory. The artwork captures the eerie myth of the children’s school bus accident, the story that says if you leave your car in neutral at the base of the hill, unseen hands will push you back uphill. Inside the bold “GRAVITY HILL” lettering, the imagery tells that story visually — the crashed school bus, ghostly figures, an old car rolling in neutral, and the quiet presence of Glen Haven Cemetery watching from above. For many of us in the San Fernando Valley, Gravity Hill wasn’t just a legend; on the contrary, it was a rite of passage. Late-night drives with friends, headlights cutting through the darkness, creeping up toward Glen Haven Cemetery to test the myth for ourselves. The mix of fear, curiosity, and adrenaline became part of growing up in the 818. This tee is part of the Heart of the 818 clothing brand: a tribute to the stories, places, and memories that shaped us. It’s not just about a ghost story; it’s about Valley identity, shared experiences, and the pride of being from the 818. #GRAVITYHILL #818 #heartofthe818 #sanfernandovalley #thevalley

What is the Heart of the 818? It’s the community, the memories, a sense of pride, and the unity that we push for. All of us play a major role here in the Valley, and together we thrive. This is what we represent. #818 #sanfernandovalley #thevalley #sfv #818valley
