Home, Land and Sea—we’re incredibly grateful for the people and partnerships that continue to make this work possible.

This week marks the beginning of our Tāmaki Tour, where we’ll bring Sean Macdonald’s Matariki for Tamariki to schools across Tāmaki Makaurau, with special performances in Tauranga, Kerikeri, and the Auckland Museum ✨

For the past two weeks, we’ve been remounting this magical work with Sean in the studio, and we feel honoured to bring it back for its sixth iteration

The studio has been filled with the spirit of Matariki, and we can’t wait to share it with audiences around Aotearoa ✨

A journey stretched across landscapes, theatres, airports, oceans and countless shared moments.

From New Zealand to Australia — carrying Gloria through different spaces, audiences and experiences.

Beyond the performances themselves, I’ll hold onto the people, the stories, the road trips, the quiet moments, the chaos, and all the laughter along the way.

Deep gratitude to
@nzdanceco @co3contemporarydance @aotearoanzfest @voicesnz @nzsymphonyorchestra @wasymphonyorchestra
and all the artists, collaborators, producers, technicians and festival teams who made this journey possible.

Thank you to

@liveinwlg @hismajestystheatreperth
for welcoming and supporting the work along the way.

Very grateful to have shared this chapter with you all 🌸💫

Some moments stay suspended in the body long after the curtain falls.

Gloria — a meeting of artists across Aotearoa and Australia, centred around the legacy and spirit of Douglas Wright.

An experience of intensity, curiosity, generosity and deep listening.

Grateful to have returned to New Zealand to share space, movement and performance alongside so many incredible people.

More reflections to come.

Here are some beautiful images from last week during Anya’s awesome process 🌳

Āhua has been an incredible opportunity for the company dancers to develop their choreographic voices and explore their unique ways of leading space.

We are incredibly proud — congratulations to ‘Isope, Caterina, Eden and Anya on an amazing four weeks!

Our final week of Āhua concluded with a joyful process led by Anya 🌳

Her piece was inspired by ideas of dreams, nostalgia, childhood games, and commercial dance. She describes it as a coming-of-age work.

Anya wanted both the process and the final piece to feel playful and joyous for the dancers and the audience — and we definitely think she achieved that!

Ngā mihi, Anya!
