Seasons come and go, and in a time when there’s constantly so much happening around us, it feels important to pause every now and then—to just stop, breathe, and smell the flowers 🌺🌸🌼. To be present, to connect, and to remind ourselves that we’re all figuring things out in our own ways, but we don’t have to do it alone.

That same feeling is what I’m always reminded of when I host a POP meetup w/ @pursuitofportraits. No matter how many we’ve done, it’s kind of wild how many new people I get to meet every single time—alongside familiar faces who keep showing up for the community, for the energy, for each other. It’s not just about creating, it’s about supporting one another, sharing space, and finding inspiration in the people around us.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Spring Fling meetup and made it what it was. Always grateful for this community.

Looking forward to bringing everyone together again in June for our Pride Month edition 🌈 Stay Tuned! AND we’re also looking forward to meeting everyone in Mumbai 🇮🇳 for the @adobeexpress India Creator Summit on May 7th!

It ‘almost’ 5 years since this documentary was made and it’s funny that I’m only just sharing it.
Well, at least I’m finally sharing it.
During the lockdown/Asuu strike while I was filling my time with art as usual and posting regularly online, I got a message from @apehouse who saw my posts and wanted to do a documentary on me while he was visiting the country. I know, ‘shocking’ right? And least I was shocked. But I agreed to do it anyway and it was quite an experience. One I’m grateful for till date. It made me feel that even the little I was doing was enough to draw some attention. But after the film was done, I watched the video and cringed and some people may wonder why. Well the answer is I have always been a self critical person, a perfectionist if you may. I’ve never liked letting people see the process, the failures and recovery, the imperfections.... But down the line, I think I forgot that these processes were just as beautiful as the finished product because they showed the time, sweat and tears that went into creating the finished product.

Well, 2025 was a year of a lot of silent battles so I entered 2026 promising myself that I was going stop hesitating due to self doubt and I will post that video no matter how cringe it feels. I will overcome my fears of being seen. And kick imposter syndrome in the fucking balls because if 2025 taught anything, it was that life will happen no matter what. So as I battle my inner demons, and prepare myself for surgery (mayomectomy) whenever that is. I will keep dancing untill my limbs give out and sing until my vocal chords beg for reprieve because I’ve only got one life, and I’m gonna Live it to the fullest.

Omg omg omg!!! One of our dearest friends got us tickets to see @robertglasper at The Blue Note this weekend and it ended up being the MOST memorable night. Glasper is even more stunning in person and he’s HILARIOUS. Then he brings out @miguel who sang us the hitssss but also some of his new new (which was fire), AND THEN he brought up @iamjamiefoxx . 😮‍💨, it was so good even @lbmannymontana pulled his phone out to record. After the night was done, we got to meet @apehouse + @hokkaidosushi which felt like the cherry on top. A night to never ever ever forget!! I looked like the last slide the WHOLE NIGHT.

💐 Thanks @lbmannymontana for being the best date and husband and best friend that a girl could ask for. + thank you Eric ( @bouquetwinebar ) for this amazingly thoughtful gift. Gahhhhh excuse me while I geek out again 💐
