After having time to reflect on the EA21 national camp in Ocala I cannot stop thinking about how grateful I am to have had the privilege of attending this life changing program. I have been attending the EA21 clinics since 2023 and I cannot describe how beneficial and eye opening this program has been for me. This program has taught me how to be a true student of the sport and has really made me view situations with a new perspective.

I can’t thank David O’Connor enough for his never ending wisdom and instruction throughout the week. To study under such a true horseman is truly inspiring.

Thank you to Kate Lokey for all the endless hours you have put in behind the scenes to help make this clinic happen!

To all the coaches who were constantly supportive and gave so much valuable insight, thank you!! @rbriding @becbraitling @janbyyny @ashlandequestrian @deeppurpleeventing

I cannot thank @sarakoz_equestrian enough for allowing me to have the ride on her lovely horses, Rocky and Thomas. Without that incredible opportunity I would not have had the privilege to attend such a life changing event. This sport is possible because of kind, incredible people like you .

Being apart of the EA21 national camp again this year was an inspiring and unforgettable experience, filled with so much growth and knowledge, alongside 11 other very talented and wonderful riders!

A huge thank you to the wonderful David O’Conner for spending your time sharing your experience and passion of the sport, teaching us to take responsibility for our growth, think deeper, stay students of the sport forever, and most importantly sharing the importance of our core values in riding! And thank you to Kate Lokey for all the you do behind the scenes, none of this would be possible without you seamlessly making all the parts come together!

Thank you to all of the regional coaches for all of the time you put in to us, your passion for this sport really shines through in all that you do: @rbriding @becbraitling @janbyyny @deeppurpleeventing @ashlandequestrian

A huge thank you to @useventing for allowing us this opportunity to learn from the best, David Oconnor, all week. Thank you @caidynsmother for allowing me to ride and learn on beloved Milo. Thank you to all the regional coaches and everyone on the EA 21 committee and around the program.
I know I’m not alone when I say this program has shaped us as more than just riders but individuals and horsewomen. This was my last year on under 21s, as I’m aging out and reflecting back, I am just so incredibly grateful. I could go on for hours about the education side of the equation, and as many of you know, school is not my strong suit, but studying horses is something that I will never lose interest in. A couple people have asked me what my biggest takeaways are from the past five years being in this program, and I think my simple answer is my core beliefs. I will continue to be a student of the sport, and always want to keep learning.

Thank you too sweet Dixie south for allowing us on your beautiful facility all week. Thank you to all the amazing sponsors. Thank you @atalyaboytnerphotography and @impulsionmedia_ for all of the lovely pictures, videos, and words of wisdom. It was so nice meeting this group of athletes. This past week I had the opportunity to participate in the EA21 National Camp in Ocala alongside a group of extremely talented riders, and I’m leaving feeling excited to build upon everything I learned! ✍️✍️

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this experience possible, especially David O’Connor for his continued dedication to supporting and educating the next generation of our sport, and Kate Lokey for all of the behind the scenes coordination that kept everything running smoothly.

A special thank you as well to the coaches who traveled to support us - @becbraitling, @deeppurpleeventing, @janbyyny, @ashlandequestrian, and @rbriding.

The USEA U21 Emerging Athletes National camp was a such valuable week of learning and perspective. Being in this environment alongside such dedicated riders was an experience I will carry with me for a long time! ❤️

Thank you to David O’Connor for setting a standard that asks us to think deeper, ride smarter, and take real responsibility for our development, and to Kate Lokey for holding all the moving pieces together so seamlessly behind the scenes.

I also got to experience three different catch rides over the course of the week, which was a really valuable part of the clinic and my personal education. I am so beyond thankful for having the opportunity again this year to have started the new year at the U21 National Camp. Being surrounded by 11 other amazing young riders and immersed in education created an unforgettable week.

Thank you to @dplatteventing for trusting me with her wonderful mare Harper for the week and to @joemeyereventing and @meyerruthie for their support and trust with her as well.

I want to extend my gratitude to @useventing, Kate Lokey, David O’Connor, and all of the regional coaches who dedicated their time, energy, and resources to the program and us young riders, and to all of the sponsors.

Thank you to Sweet Dixie South for letting us use their beautiful facility all week long. It is so wonderfully maintained and the hard work that goes into it didn’t go unnoticed.

My support system at home is beyond amazing and I can’t thank everyone enough. Especially @freedom_run for always being just a text or call away no matter what.

Finally thank you to my mom, @lisa_bona013 for being my biggest supporter and always being there for me. I wouldn’t be able to do this without her.

Aging out is incredibly bittersweet and I am so excited to take everything I’ve learned and continue to grow and improve myself as a rider, competitor, and horsewoman.

Back from another fantastic show @twinrivershorsepark with two newly minted 3 horses* and an exciting new partnership in the making! ✨

Coco Chanel, owned in partnership with Brianna Halliday, stormed around her first 3* like she was made for cross-country — what a treat to ride such a talented 7-year-old.

Piccadilly’s Pride, owned by Bonner Carpenter, was an absolute star and continues to show just how much he has to offer for the future.

And Calling Cooley, a new ride for me owned by Jen & Molly Duda, is such an amazing little horse with the biggest heart stormed around our FEI debut for 3rd in the 2*S.

Massively grateful to be sitting on such talented horses and for the incredible people who make it all possible.

Feeling incredibly thankful walking away from the past two days of the EA21 clinic! I learned so much from the amazing @deeppurpleeventing and am beyond thankful for @useventing for providing us with such an amazing opportunity! Between horsemanship and riding lessons, I learned more than I could've imagined, and I can't wait to apply this new knowledge at home!
