I’ve been very ill today, hence the late appreciation post for my Aphiwe as she turns 18 today. Happy birthday nana @aphiweeee.v2101 🎂🎁🍾💝🎊🎈 I am tremendously proud of her. She’s basically me, but 200% better. It’s a wonder to watch 😆🤦🏽‍♀️😅especially when she’s being her witty , crazy self! LISTEN!! 😂😂😂😂 if you’ve seen her whatsapp statuses you know what I’m tal’mbout! She’s as calm and sensitive as I am, very caring and considerate of others. Over the years I’ve observed how she sets her own pace, defines her own goals, does not succumb to pressure from peers...Its a new year of milestones, we’re all a lil emo about this new phase with university up next 🤯*Deeeep sigh*
Above all I’m grateful for so much, my mother mostly for absolutely everything she has done with her grandkids. If ever there was a nurturer! 🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️ A huge thank you to my sisters, our extended family, cousins, aunts, uncles, o gogo no mkhulu. I would also like to extend thanks to her and Sbu Jnr’s entire paternal family the Vezi’s and the Ngcobo’s who have really stepped up and done the utmost in terms of support with absolutely everything! I can’t thank them enough. Especially Aunty Phume and Daddy Nhlanhla.
Thank you also to my friends who have become family (a special shout out to @mbongelenimlambo for the birthday cake!!! Facebook family who keep wishing us well...I truly appreciate you all!! God knows my heart, ngiyabonga kakhulu! 💚💜💛💙
