The past two weeks have been some of the most transformative of my life. I am so beyond grateful for the time I got to spend in such an incredible place.

To ox-bow: you are a bubble of peace in the world. I am so deeply thankful for the memories, moments, people, places, and things you had to offer. You have changed me in mind, body, and spirit beyond what words can describe.

To my newfound family: I love you all so deeply. Thank you for every shared laugh, meal, and moment. You are all so kind and your care has impacted me so deeply. I hope to keep you all in my life for a very long time.

I will be back as soon as I can be,
But in the meantime,
I’ll miss you.

Last Friday’s opening reception for BLACK CLAY brought the VIBES. The gallery was packed in the best possible way, with artists, friends, admirers and so much joy-filled community out in droves to support this incredible exhibit.

Black Clay features more than 20 ceramic artists-including Tammie Rubin, Sierra Bundy, Willow Vergara-Agyakwa, Esther Ervin, and Deshun Peoples — shaping clay into narrative, memory, and resistance. ✨
