🤩🐥Shout out to @gopostalboone for creating this beautiful sponsor banner for the 11th Annual Ducky Regatta Festival! Even better when adorned by this fabulous balloon frame, donated to us by a member of our community!
🎈🔆

🤩🥰 Because of these generous businesses’ and individuals’ sponsorships, we were able to do something truly special: raise critical funds that keep our food assistance programs running while also hosting a festival that was accessible to everyone, regardless of financial means. ☺️🔅

♥️🎈There’s something powerful about bringing our community together for a day of fun while also supporting neighbors facing food insecurity. Creating joy, building connections, and helping ensure everyone has access to the food they need—that’s a pretty incredible thing. ❗️🎉

🫶💓Thank you for investing in a stronger, more connected community for us all. We couldn’t do this work without the kindness and generosity of each of you!!🦆💛

Thank you to our Empower Her sponsors, Grandfather Vineyard & Winery, Mountain Grounds, Stonewalls, and UNC Health Appalachian, for making this event possible.

If you are attending tomorrow or can’t make it, we encourage you to support other happenings at the winery on June 24th.

🥂 Percent Day in support of OASIS Inc., an incredible organization dedicated to responding to and working towards ending sexual and domestic violence through education, outreach, community engagement, and comprehensive support services. A portion of all sales today will go directly toward funding their life-changing work in our community. Come raise a glass, enjoy the vineyard and the river, and help us support a safer, stronger community for everyone!

💐 Callista Flower Co will have a pop-up shop in the vineyard. They will be selling pre-made bouquets as a wonderful way to treat yo’ self or a gal pal or both from 2:00-4:00 pm.

The Avery County Chamber’s June After Hours, hosted by Avery Heating & Air in Linville and co-hosted by UNC Health Appalachian, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Waightstill’s Tavern & Restaurant, and Doe River Gorge Ministries, proved that a little rain can’t dampen the spirit of Chamber members! More than 65 attendees gathered for a dynamic summer BBQ-style evening filled with networking, laughter, and community connections.

Guests enjoyed a fresh burger bar prepared by Waightstill’s Tavern & Restaurant, delicious picnic-style sides from Williams Deli & Bakery, and sweet treats from High Country Pie Co. The festivities included yard games, friendly jousting competitions, and fantastic country rock music from Adam Rose and Monday Rain, creating an energetic atmosphere throughout the evening.

The beverage selections were equally impressive, with refreshments provided by Booneshine Brewing Company, Kettell Beerworks, and Linville Falls Winery.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees, the event raised more than $500 for the Avery County High School Scholarship Fund through the sale of curated baskets by Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Timber & Twine, Country Bumpkin Candle Company, and more!

Special appreciation goes to everyone who participated in our BYOB (Bring Your Own Buddy) initiative, helping introduce prospective members to the many benefits—and magic—of being part of the Avery County Chamber family.

Thank you to our host, co-hosts, partners, members, and all who attended for making June After Hours another outstanding Chamber event. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next gathering at Beech Mountain Resort 5506’ Skybar on Thursday August 13th.
