Solid weekend. Family picnic that included kickball with the cousins and a game of questions for my mother to answer. She seemed to enjoy dunking me the most (I definitely deserve it lol). Finished with a trip to a beach with friends.

2026. What a summer this has been. We have had memorable years but this summer takes the cake. Going from hosting one player to FOUR; playing board and card games, late night conversations, watching you guys play with Maddox and let loose your inner child, making not just Maddox but us as well feel like part of the team. Many of you that we didnt host but it felt like you were also part of our family. This has been one hell of a summer. Thank you for making summers like this possible. There was never a dull moment at the Crowder house this year. Let's run it back next year. Roll Logs!

20 years ago, "He was a boy, she was a girl.....he was a skater boi," but @aprilmae03 never said, "See ya later boy." We were just a couple of kids in our first years of high school when II stood on those stairs, and I asked if you would go out with me. At the time, we had no way of knowing that we would be where we are today. Through all of our ups and downs and in-betweens, I have never stopped loving you, and you seem to find a way to make me a better man, husband, and now father. Thank you for always being there for me, even for the simplest of things. I love you.

Maddox got to meet the cows and have some fun on the Bert-Mar farms courtesy of @sarahcomp04 and @compeauryan . Thank you for the tour of the farm and the Kubota rides. Didn't get a picture of it but he also got to pet some of the cows.

Just like that another summer of @laxloggers baseball is over. This year was especially special since we got to enjoy it with our son. So many of the players, fans, other host families, and the Loggers interns/staff made this year special as well. Thank you all so much for making this year so incredibly great!

Happy First Birthday to our little man Maddox. There is noone else I would rather have as my sidekick than @aprilmae03 It has been one heck of a year but here we are trying to decipher what he is babbling about and trying to keep up with him and his endless amount of energy and stopping him from feeding his puppy. Mommy and Daddy love you very much. #birthday #firstbirthday

Already 20 weeks (almost 21) later and it is still crazy, awesome, exciting, nerve-racking all at the same time. I can't wait to hold our little guy and be the best husband AND father I can be. @aprilmae03
