Beginning with found photography, Sears’ source images are the smooth, frictionless surfaces of consumer photography, engineered to flatten the female body into a vehicle for desire. #adèleaproh @aprohdite ‘s “Good Address (Sunny Nails),” 2026. Adèle‘s “Custom Made” exhibition recently closed at @scroll.nyc in #nyc and she will have works up with that gallery at @newartdealers art fair in #miami beginning on December 1, 2026. She has also shown with @theholenyc @mxmgaleria @irl.nyc @atla_works @saatchi_gallery @mooseyart @delphiangallery @mimamuseum . She also was a resident at @mackartfoundation . Adéle’s works feature female protagonists placed in theatrical, surreal group scenes — dressing rooms, hair salons, nail salons, backstage moments that consider themes of identity, conformity, social/professional hierarchy and femininity.
