Life and training is just better with friends.
Today we shared miles on a beautiful trail, laughs in between breaths, and that quiet understanding that comes when you move together.

When life feels heavy, nature has a way of lightening the load.
Fresh air, dirt under your feet, good people by your side — sometimes that’s all the reset you need. 🌲🏃‍♂️💚

✨23 Years Later… and Back on the Blocks!✨
It’s been 23 years since I dove off the blocks and raced in a swim meet — and it almost felt like I was 17 again! 🏊‍♀️ The nerves hit just the same before every event (that sick-to-your-stomach feeling… ha ha 😅).
I swam 4 events:
🏁 50-yard Freestyle
💪 100-yard IM
🐸 50-yard Breaststroke
🔥 100-yard Freestyle
I actually surprised myself with how close I came to my guesstimated times! It was so special seeing old swim friends from the South Davis Rec Center and catching up 💙
A fun surprise — two of my triathlete friends showed up to race too! @speedotriman and @aqwilson What a fun, memorable morning!
A HUGE shoutout to my friend @kimdoroghian , who encouraged me to sign up and join her! Watching her swim was INCREDIBLE — she literally flew through the water! 🦋 She raced the 400 IM, 200 Fly, 50 Fly, and 100 Fly — and broke the State Record in every single one!! 🤯 Kim is one of the most humble, inspiring people I know. Watching her was like having a front-row seat at the Olympics. 🥇

Another fun surprise was having @kelseyf10 there to cheer for both Kim and I! ❤️❤️

My daughter also came with me to cheer me on which was so special to have her there!! ❤️❤️ after the meet we swam 2000 yards together including one mile straight to practice for her meet next weekend where she will be swimming the MILE! 🎉🎉🎉
So grateful for this experience — my heart (and goggles) are full. Can’t wait for the next swim meet! 💦💙

Quick Coach tip from SLTC Coach Rory Duckworth. Running through the bike and bike bags before the race is critical as early as you can, so if you forget anything or need to make some adjustments, you have time. Good luck, everyone, racing this weekend!

This weekend, a group of our incredible Salt Lake Tri Club women made their way down to St. George for a weekend of sunshine, sweat, and serious strength.

At SLTC, we believe you only get one beautiful life—and these athletes are living it fully. They’re chasing big goals, pushing limits, and showing up for each other every step of the way.

It’s not just about the training—it’s about the friendships, the laughter, the grit, and the growth. It’s about surrounding yourself with people who inspire you to be just a little better every day.

Here’s to strong women. Here’s to this one beautiful life. And here’s to everyone in this amazing club who reminds us what’s possible.
