26 welcomed the paradox of finding immense joy alongside grief. I danced, I cooked, I traveled, I moved. I settled and steadied. I embraced discomfort and was astounded by beauty. I changed, I loved and was loved deeply. Somehow I felt I was doing all these things at once. 26 was golden indeed. Onto 27. ♥️✨🪩

Short little Memorial Day trip to the farm (@kbacque and @funlovingandy comin in clutch with the hospitality skills as always) with four wheeler rides and pool time, and a few trips to the water valley house...which I am ECSTATIC to say is finally mine! We closed yesterday! Have to do some repairs to get the house up to code but utilities are on and in my name, I’m going to have my house in Jackson packed and ready to go as soon as this lil heaven is ready for me, and I cried (just a little 😉 ) the first time I saw my name with this house listed as my address under it! My little zoo is going to love this yard and my lil brain is gonna love trying to turn that shed into a studio of sorts so I can dive back into sculpture ✨ thank you to @kristabarnhart + @kristielnutt for pushing so hard to help me chase my dream and then fighting tirelessly to make sure it could become my reality. I am so lucky and so grateful. Water Valley, here I come!! I hope to become a part of the incredible community there and give back at least just a fraction of the joy and support that I’ve already been shown by the town and the friends I have living there. Next chapter is started and I couldn’t be more excited. 🥰💕🌸

We are BLACK LADIES!....We build...we don’t tear down other BLACK LADIES....We have felt the pain of being torn down and we have decided we will be deliberate about building others! If I didn’t tag you please don’t be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge. All too often we ladies find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let’s do something positive🖤
