Last night was more than a celebration of Season One and a toast to Season Two, it was a glimpse of the community we are building through A Splash More.

I believe there’s power in women sharing their stories with honesty and vulnerability. When we make room for the joyful parts, the hard parts, and everything we’re still becoming, someone else can feel seen and less alone. The women in this photo reflect the spirit I hope this platform continues to create.

I’m grateful to every woman who showed up in support of this next chapter, and to the partners who helped bring the evening to life. This is only the beginning.

Meet your mentor: Meghan Geier.

Meghan founded Archival Ninjas, the female-led team filmmakers call when a film lives or dies on its archival.

Rights, research, clearance, the impossible-to-find footage that makes a documentary feel true. Her team has handled the archival on Netflix’s American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson and Osama Bin Laden as well as Amazon’s John Candy: I Like Me.

In the residency, she mentors the Archival Research and Production track. You learn the craft from someone doing it at the top of the field right now.

This is what the mentorship actually is. Nine months placed next to people like Meghan.

Unicorn Movie Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded and operated by moms dedicated to making a difference, creates engaging movie screenings that bring communities together while raising funds for vital educational and youth programs.

Don’t sleep on Episode 2 of U.S. Against The World.

“Not So Golden” shows it all... not just the lead up and painful let down of Copa América up close, but inside the homes and hearts of the players themselves.

Episode 2 is where reality hits hard.

An article published by US Soccer put it like this: “expectations were growing for this young generation to mature, tally some major results and build the country’s belief.”
