Looking for an adventure pup? Indie with Arctic Rescue is your girl! ❤️ Indie is a 1.5-year-old, 40-pound Husky mix looking for a family who loves hiking, snuggling, and appreciates a good zoomies session! She’s incredibly cuddly and affectionate, and she definitely has her talkative Husky moments! Indie absolutely LOVES attention and will happily soak up every bit of affection you’re willing to give her. When she’s excited, her goofy personality comes out in full force with whole-body butt wiggles, zoomies, and even happy little spins! Indie would love an active, adventure-loving home! She enjoys being outdoors, has great recall, and has all the potential to be an amazing hiking and trail companion. She’s also completely potty trained, does well in her crate, and has been wonderful with kids. Indie enjoys the company of other dogs, though she has shown some resource guarding around treats and certain spaces. She’ll need a family who understands these behaviors and is willing to provide thoughtful management and continued guidance to help everyone feel comfortable and safe. If you’re looking for a hiking buddy, cuddle companion, and goofy best friend all rolled into one, Indie might be your perfect match! Apply to adopt Indie at https://arcticrescue.org/adopt @arcticrescue

Looking for your next adventure buddy? Meet Indie from Arctic Rescue! 🐾 Indie is a beautiful 1.5-year-old, 40-pound Husky mix who loves being active, snuggling, and spending time with her people. She already has great recall and has all the makings of an incredible trail companion! Indie was found as a stray in New Mexico with another dog, and after just over two weeks in the shelter, both were placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Indie made it out and is now thriving in foster care. Indie is surprisingly calm for a Husky and an absolute cuddle bug. She adores attention and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give her. Of course, she still has those classic Husky vocal moments! Indie loves other dogs, although she has shown some resource guarding tendencies in the home that her future family will need to manage. She’s also been wonderful with kids, is fully potty trained, and does well in her crate. Indie is available for adoption through Arctic Rescue. Apply at https://arcticrescue.org/adopt @arcticrescue

Roha has been looking for a home with Arctic Rescue for 75 days, and we’d really love to see this beautiful senior floof finally find her people 💙 At 10 years old and 75 pounds, Roha is a big, fluffy Malamute mix with a surprisingly impressive pep in her step. This happy-go-lucky girl still loves getting out, playing with her dog friends, going for sniffy walks, and tagging along on adventures. Car rides might be Roha’s favorite thing in the world. She is always thrilled to hop in and come along, whether you’re heading somewhere exciting or just taking her for a ride around town. When she’s not out exploring, she’s perfectly happy soaking up affection and enjoying time with her people. Roha is crate-trained, very dog-friendly, gentle with people, and has that perfect mix of senior sweetness and goofy Malamute personality. She may have a little more gray in her floof these days, but she still has plenty of enthusiasm for life. After 75 days of waiting, Roha is ready for a foster or forever home where she can bring her giant fluffy presence, happy little strut, and whole lot of love. To adopt Roha, apply through Arctic Rescue at arcticrescue.org/adopt @arcticrescue

Lady Lucinda has me completely, hopelessly, head-over-heels in love with her. 💜 This is possibly my last morning with her, and I’m soaking up every kiss, every paw-pat, every pull-me-closer hug, every hiccup, every muffled sleep bark, and every ridiculous little mermaid siren call. 🧜‍♀️😂 One of the most beautiful parts of fostering is watching a dog slowly become who they really are. So many come in guarded, unsure, timid, or carrying the weight of a rough beginning. Then, little by little, they realize they’re safe. They play more. They trust more. They love more. They become themselves. And watching Lucinda blossom has been such a gift. Saturday at Puptoberfest, she absolutely shined. She charmed everyone she met, showed off her sweet, silly, affectionate little self, and I was so ridiculously proud of her. She loves Timber. She snuggles Mojo. She smiles in her sleep. She gives kisses, pulls you in for hugs, and somehow manages to make me fall in love with her a little more every single day. And that’s what makes fostering so hard. I don’t just love Lucinda. I know she loves me too. So this morning, I’m just loving her as much as I possibly can and trying not to think too hard about how one tiny foster dog managed to take up such an enormous piece of my heart. My beautiful Lady Lucinda. I am so, so proud of you. 💜🐾 #fosteringsaveslives❤️🐶 #fosterdog #adoptdontshop #husky
