Scotland, a land of dramatic cliffs, magical landscapes, misty mountain peaks, and untamed seas.

Schotland • Portree > Loch Leathan 🚶🏻‍♀️ (5/14)

Thru-hiking update 1.0 | Hiking trails & more 🤩

Hi all! Hope you are well and this year has started good with some great hiking trails, maybe you're on the PCT now or have some other nice trails planned 🙏 we're stoked to see all your trail stories the upcoming months 😍

For us, the year started a bit rough with a lot of work behind the screen. Sitting inside is not something we like 😜 but it was also good (and needed 😅) to finish two very special projects 🤙The first one we'll tell you this week with a big launch, it's something we've worked on for two years 😊 second thing is a huge update of our hiking trails database on the website which we'll launch in June.

For this database we've asked you to contribute the trails, thanks so much to everyone who has helped us the past months. We couldn't do this without your support. It's our goal to bring you all the information you need need for the next hiking trail. Wheter it's a 3-day trek or a 5 month thru-hike. We're working on more detailed information so you can find it all at one place. As this is an ongoing proces, you can always contribute a trail, short or long (send us an email for more info at info@thru-hiking.com) 🙏

Next upcoming trails for us are the Kerry Way 🇮🇪 stoked to see some of you out there and after that the Madeira Crossing 🇵🇹 before we're hitting the European Alps 🇪🇺 We can't wait to meet you again on the trails 😊 In the next months we'll share recaps from these trails & from the ambassador team who're hiking manyyyy trails 🤩

We want to make this a place for every hiker. If you want to share your story, long or short, you can use our channels, both website and Instagram. If we can do anything to help you getting out there more, just let is know.

🙏 It would make a huge difference for us if you follow these accounts 🙏

➡️ @_thru_hiking for longer trails
➡️ @_hiking_trails for shorter trails

Happy trails ❤️

Your thru-hiking team (Elmar, Katie & Jochem) and all ambassadors (tagged in the photo) 🤗
