Join us for a screening of Saving Face (2004), directed by Alice Wu, on Thursday May 7th 2026.

Feel free to rsvp via the link in bio! Our vision is to consistently create accessible space so our screenings are free for attendees. 💚

A hopeful, Chinese-American story about facing the unexpected and love between two women while they navigate family secrets, cultural expectations and the courage to live authentically. Come ready for a post-film discussion so we can unpack together afterward.

Supported by the Field Foundation of Illinois, this movie night is part of Ground Rules: Experimental Station’s community series that brings people together to foster understanding, meaningful dialogue, and stronger connections across differences.

We hope to see you there next month. Talk soon!

Summer has arrived and we have a very special screening to help you to celebrate pride month⭐️ we are watching the award winning documentary, Paris is Burning. In a time where things feel uncertain especially as marginalized people—this film is a reminder that queer people are not defined by trauma or the vision of what is normal. Instead the queens of the 80’s show what it’s like to speak and live without requiring acceptance from a world that often forgets them. Don’t miss out. Pop out on June 25th with a camp outfit and don’t forget to RSVP in the bio for reminders. ⭐️
