NYCC remains a blast, as always

Another #NYCC in the books! This year was Brad’s 5th and Sarah’s 1st, and attending together has been on our pod bucket list for quite some time.

We loved hearing the new announcements at the Star Wars publishing panel (not unique to NYCC but a major focus for us given the larger scope of this con), grabbing some Star Wars goodies to take home with us (MON MOTHMA ART PRINT WOOOOO), meeting our heroes a.k.a. Ahmed Best, and hanging out with friends from around the Star Wars community. We even won Star Wars trivia by the skin our teeth!

Appreciative of the experiences we’ve gotten to have together, and NYCC is another feather in the cap. Thank you to those who took the time to meet us and say hello.

Next stop: Los Angeles for Star Wars Celebration!

Met up with some great people so far at New York Comic Con!

Got to chat with @bestahmed about our love for Jedi Temple Challenge (yes of course I wore the shirt!) - he was amazing!

Won Star Wars trivia with @arezoudeetoo and @friendsoftheforce (our team name was Boss Nasty courtesy of @molliemander )

Got to catch up with @patrickhwillems after 4 years of not seeing him! (@adamlancegarcia had to leave early but was also great to catch up with)

Got to meet Ryan from @screencrush in person!

More fun pics from the trip to come…

Still floating in the afterglow of our 1-Year Anniversary! ✨

Some chapters are just too good to leave behind on the shelf, we’ll be re-reading this memory for a very long time. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate 365 days of Foxglove Books with us, shared a toast, and helped make this night so unforgettable.
Here’s to many more pages together! 📚🥂🤍

Thank you @elliottreads for letting me know about @foxglove.books anniversary event. I’ve never been to this hidden gem before - and their anniversary event was the perfect introduction. I will definitely be back!
A charming little place, with a lot more than books (yes, a Christmas prezzie or two may have been purchased🤫).
What a delight talking to some local authors (@arezoudeetoo and cousin!), and meeting up with @racheystone again (I’m holding you to that request).
It was a crazy day for me, and exactly what I needed in order to end it off beautifully! Thank you!
QOTD: What was the last bookstore event you attended? If none, shout out your favourite bookstore.

✨ A night we’ll never forget. ✨
We are still floating after such an incredible evening! A massive, heartfelt thank you to our growing community for showing up and celebrating this amazing year with us. 📚❤️

A very special, huge thank you to Marissa Stapley for coming out and making the night so unforgettable! We are beyond grateful for your time, support, and presence in our shop. 💫

We also couldn't do this without the incredible authors and creators who joined us:

Rachel Stone
Sevelen & Shane Price
Arezou Amin
Alessandra Requena
Grant Ivens

Best of all: you can now find books by all of these amazing authors right here on our shelves in store! 🛒📚

Plus, a huge shoutout to Serene Illustrations for bringing so much magic to the evening. We are so excited to share that you’ll soon be able to find her artwork right here in the store, too, stay tuned for that! 🎨✨

And an extra-special shoutout to Alison. We truly wouldn't be here if you hadn't taken a chance on two women who simply love to read, love books, and deeply believe in the community that stories can create.

Thank you all for being part of our story. Here’s to many more chapters together! 🥂📖✨
