They are an advance tool but a useful one.

If you are looking for something that builds a TON of eccentric capacity this is it.

The sequencing of the reps allows for outputs to build as you reuse that eccentric speed and turn the bar around.

You can use it with bands, trap bars, Olympic pulls and a HEAP more.

There is a variation suitable for every athlete to be able to work on their ability to manage and re direct load effectively.

It’s a huge part of developing explosive and elastic athletes.

It doesn’t have to be a clean, any sort of pool with a barbell or a trap bar can make this variation work a dream.

All you have to focus on is getting that bar as high as possible from that initial pull, let it ride down aggressively and turn it around straight away.

It is one of the best variations for building powerful explosive athletes and I use it all the time.

@ari.chiasson does it WELL - can you?

It’s taken me a few months to find the right fit, but I’m really excited to announce that @ari.chiasson will be the next athlete coming onboard to receive a full S&C scholarship from KT systems.

This will be the final spot I have available in the program for a while, and I couldn’t be happier to give it to another push athlete.

Over the last few years, I’ve found a real soft spot for bobsleigh, it’s a sport that demands more from its athletes financially, physically and emotionally than most.

All the while producing some of the most physically impressive athletes I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

So having the opportunity to provide a little extra support to athletes like ari means a lot.

And for her to trust her performance and something she’s incredibly passionate about to some strange bloke on the other side of the world means even more.

We’ve got big plans heading into the next four year cycle and beyond and I’m incredibly excited to see what we can build.
