GLAAD let me do the Honors. 🥁

I attended this year’s GLAAD Honors with my EMEI cohort, comprised of 20 brilliant Black queer artists. It truly is about the friends you make along the way because I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch to be in community with. Thank you @glaad and the Communities of Color team for including us. #glaadhonors #emeicohort

Alsoooo. I’m not over this fit and I fear I never will be! It is so ME.

Shoutout to everybody, i had fun!

I came into this year wanting to grow my creative community, and was blessed to be connected with 19 amazingly talented Black Queer Creatives. My heart is so full with all of the love and support we poured into one another. We immediately bonded. #onebandonesound

Thank you to the @glaad team for selecting us to be a part of EMEI Cohort 3, and hosting such wonderful events this week.

LGBTQ+ non-profit @glaad presents a new cohort of their Equity in Media and Entertainment Initiative (EMEI), an annual programme dedicated to uplifting queer artists of colour based in the US. The final twenty unveils an entire spectrum of themes and techniques, from drawing through woodwork to video – all in testament to the multiplicity of the artists’ lived experience and intersectional identity.

Here are the ten creatives that stood out to us, exploring all the different ways in which visual art can make marginalised lives visible 👉 click the link in our bio!
