POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Two years Two years ago I started my apprenticeship. A year and a half ago I was laid off from my corporate dream job that I held for 10 years. The SAME WEEK I got cleared to start taking clients. A year and a half ago the universe really said “oh you wanna do art full time? Here ya go have fun figure it out!” 7 months ago I got my license and joined the @lotussink team and was embraced by the sweetest and most welcoming band of women I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around. 7 months ago I really saw my career shift to something for the better. 2 guest spots. 1 convention. And many life goals accomplished. In this time frame of my tattoo journey, I have been entrusted by over 450 people to tattoo them. Over 450 bodies allowing me to create a lifetime memory for them - many of whom have honored me by continuing to come back to me and create new memories and stories. I feel like not only my art and skill set has changed in that time frame, but also myself. Looking back on the last two years I see countless versions of myself. Countless versions of the person I wanted to be when I grew up. And little me would be so so so stoked to see how far we’ve come and the fact that we’re living our lifetime dream of being an artist full time. I cannot express my gratitude to every single human that’s been apart of this journey. To the friends I’ve made, to the people who have had a part to play in my story - I love you all. Thank you for allowing me to do what I do🩵

Day 7 of #septembersocial - someone who inspires you. I have a lot of inspiring people in my life, I feel incredibly lucky. Hard to put them all in one place. Highest on the pyramid are my parents and my partner. My life would be so less loving and creative and magical without them. My friends and family add so much richness, and their joy is my joy. I cherish you all. : : #photoprompts #faizehraqs #inspire #earthwithoutartisjusteh #joyisvital #allyouneedislove #makeyourfamily #inspireothers #loveisallyouneed #buildeachotherup
