What a wonderful, beautiful film, all about the need to perform and create art in the most brutal times. A huge inspiration 🙏

Happy birthday to the greatest partner I could have ever dreamt up. Here he is helping me scout out locations for a maternity shoot. Thank you for being down for every adventure and always carrying the bags. ❤️

Sundance, we’re ready 🎬✨Films about love, loss, obsession, reinvention — and the communities that shape us. Park City is overflowing with bold, beautiful work — these are a few we’re especially excited to celebrate.

We’re excited to announce the Winners and Finalists of the inaugural Unseen Iran Artist Grants!

This first year brought nearly 500 submissions, each reflecting the talent, creativity, and range of voices within our community. We’re grateful to every artist who shared their work with us and helped make this program possible. And a big thank you to our jury for the time and effort put into reviewing the projects.

Congratulations to this year’s winners and finalists! We’re excited to share more as the projects progress throughout the year. We can’t wait to welcome even more artists in future cycles, and hope you’ll consider applying!!

With appreciation,
Nimruz and Waterwell

12 DAYS OF AMMO 🎄🎁🎊
On the 3rd day of Ammo, they gave us Bernardo Cubria’s (@pinchecubria) World Premiere of The Giant Void in My Soul, directed by the inimitable Felix Solis (@felixasolis)
From actor Karla Mosely: Void filled a void in me - and I could feel it doing the same for audiences night after night. Bernardo Cubría allowed the clown to do what it does best, help us to better understand ourselves.
From producer Julie Bersani: Producing the world premieres of new works like The Judgment of Fools, The Giant Void in My Soul, and Revenge Porn or the Story of a Body gave me the opportunity to work with visionary artists that are shaping the landscape of storytelling into a more thoughtful, representative, and meaningful space. The art and artistry coming from Ammo is deeply soulful and I’m grateful to have been able to support it.

Featuring Karla Mosley (@karlamose), Kim Hamilton (@kimhamilton_), Liza Fernandez (@ms.lizafernandez), Claudia Doumit (@claudiadoumit)
Understudies: Marjorie Felt (@maloriefelt), Karen Sours Albuisa (@karensoursalbisua), Xochitl Romer (@xochitl_imokay) + Liza Fernandez(@ms.lizafernandez)

A senseless quest for meaning! When Fool 1 discovers the giant void in their soul, their best friend Fool 2 joins them on a mission to fill it. Will alcohol and food do the trick? What about religion or activism? Could a job or a “partner-house-baby” do it? Will anything fill this damn void?
If you want to amplify the resistance, consider us in your year end giving, if it’s in your heart and in your budget. You can help us to continue to make great, engaging, challenging, joyous art. Link in bio!
