I love wearing a susty fit, but what does it mean to “trust in every thread?” Of the clothing you wear ? 👀

I asked people at the Green Jobs Pavilion during #ClimateWeekNYC one question: when you hear “Trust in Every Thread,” what does that mean to you? Shout out to @bodhi_patil @miramusank @ariellevking @mahdiyyahofficial @naturefocus_studio for their insightful responses🥰👗

OEKO-TEX® STANDARRD 100 tests every component of a textile, thread, buttons, dye, against harmful substances before it can carry the label.
Your turn 👇 what does “Trust in Every Thread” mean to you?

📍New Yorkers take DC.
Shot A LOT in the past two weeks.
Don’t feel like doing a dump yet, so let’s start with these first.
Became my bestie’s paparazzi, how’d we do?
Y’all make some noise, she won an award too.

Since my 2nd little human … I have not been as consistently active in the sustainability / sustainable fashion space (in the traditional sense). I’ve taken some much needed time away from industry and movement building and prioritizing what it means to sustain home and motherhood!

It felt so nice to be back in community and on the stage alongside other beautiful vanguards!

Congrats @browngirl_green on the 2nd annual @greenjobsboard 🖤 and all of the informative ways that climate resilience is creating opportunities. Thanks for having me!

To new friends, seeing old friends, and my first climate week. ❤️

I don’t know environmental justice activist might hit a little harder than wildlife conservationist 👀.

I love many cultures, but none more than my own. If you haven’t seen Mas play yet, pay attention! 🇬🇾🇬🇩

Nah playin’ bout playin’ Mas!

Guyana and the Bahamas! 🇬🇾🇧🇸

Group ting!

True Masqueraders!

Golden arrow, golden child! 🇬🇾

More like my fadda 🇬🇾 than I’d like to admit 😅.

It’s a Carriacou ting! 🇬🇩

A good time with the “lady in red”! 💃🏾
