Reflections of another Earthstrong. TOMORROW IS MY BDAY! 4TH OF You lie!

This video was from last year's CUNTRY birthday bash, and as I head into my birthday tomorrow, I can't help but reflect. Big thanks to @giddyupdancing for hosting this line dancing! Ans forever friend @commonground.laura for the space. We raised $300 to help local community.

What a year it's been.

This year challenged me, stretched me, humbled me, and at times nearly broke me. There were moments I wasn't sure how I'd make it through, but somehow I did. One step at a time. One day at a time. A lot has happened between my business, new business, school, residency/festivals, starting new work, travel abroad for health and more.

Looking back at this day reminds me how important joy is. How important community is. How healing it can be to gather with people who love you, laugh until your stomach hurts, and dance like nobody's watching. That energy can help heal bodies, souls maybe even planets.

Country music and line dancing also have deep Black roots, and celebrating through that lens felt extra special. There is something powerful about reclaiming space, honouring history, and creating new memories with people who show up for you. And I love you all for constantly having to show up for me. And my beautiful wonderful Fiancee for being my rock year after year.

As I step into another year tomorrow, I'm carrying gratitude for every lesson, every blessing, every challenge I survived, and every person who stood beside me along the way. But I am always praying for a year of success, health healing, money money money, and some damn peace.

Here's to another year of growth, joy, healing, adventure, and dancing through whatever comes next.

World, I'm ready for you. 🤠
