POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hunting for good art in Charlottenburg with these two fellow artists @arisamaede and @armela.l.

Let's manifest our own exhibition together someday, because one of the ones we saw was bullshit and we can definitely do better. 😅 At least they had wine, and the guys we met in line had cool stories (when the advertising is better than the actual product). 🥂

The other one did have some nice artworks, lots of them mechanical drawings-inspired, capturing the essence of Deutsche machinery (and mentality) very well. Too bad I didn't take some photos, but yeah, next time. 🤖

The Japanese restaurant on that street famous for Asian food we ate at was definitely good, but the spice level was through the roof, and I like spicy food. But I couldn't even feel my toungue with this one, a waste of otherwise perfectly good chicken. The caramelized sweet potatoes were very interesting, though, with literal caramel sugar. More of a dessert than a savory dish, but I'm not judging. 🍬

I came into this experience fully expecting to be engulfed in peace and quiet. I’d create in solitude. Maybe interact with the other artists in passing, or in between the crashing waves of our own creative flow.

However, I did NOT expect to feel such a magnetic connection between each one of these incredible humans. We’re from all different places, scattered about throughout the world. And yet, our love for creation is the connecting fiber. A through line tethering us all together.

How is it possible to feel love for humans who were complete strangers just 6 days before?

Rich…. I am incredibly rich.

🍂 It was such a pleasure to welcome a group of talented artists at La Maison de Beaumont this fall 🍂 🍁 🌾 🌰

We had a class of five 🎨 painters @ejamesmacdonald @im_only_pastel @helenjeanpage @arisamaede @alexismataaaa and one ✒️ poet from New York City @salomefedz

They each came with their own visual language and together filled the house with energy and creativity.

We LOVED seeing people come to our debut exhibition - purchasing, connecting, sharing, and spreading creativity.

Sitting with new & old friends amongst our art was a true thrill. Big thanks to Maison10, all of our artists, and those who showed support!

Stay tuned for more!
