🌟📚 MEET 9-YEAR-OLD AUTHOR ARIA BAKER-CHUKWUEMEKA AT THE CHILDREN’S BLACK BOOK FAIR UK! 📚🌟

At just 9 years old, Ara @arisanauthor is already the author of two books, with her third on the way! ✍🏾✨

Her inspiring author journey began when she was finding reading challenging. To support her, her mum started spending more time with her in libraries and bookshops, allowing Aria to choose books that genuinely interested and excited her.

After discovering her new favourite reads, Aria began attending book signings and meeting the authors behind the stories she loved. Seeing the faces behind the names on those book covers sparked a dream, she wanted to become an author too! 💫

For her 6th birthday, Aria asked for a typewriter so she could start creating her own stories.

And she hasn’t stopped writing since! ❤️📖

📕 At 7, she published her first book, The Moon That Forgot to Go to Bed.

📗 At 8, she released Run for Fun.

📘 Now at 9, Aria is preparing to release her third book, My High Fly, later this year with even more books still to come!

✨ Now it’s your opportunity to meet Aria in person!

Join us at the Children’s Black Book Fair UK and meet this incredible young author, discover her books and celebrate the next generation of Black literary talent. 📚✊🏾

Aria’s journey reminds us why spaces like the Children’s Black Book Fair matter, children need opportunities to see authors, meet authors and realise that they can become authors too.

These kids are unstoppable 💨

Last weekend we ran our 100th (😉) kids business fair in London's iconic @leadenhallmarket (who are so amazing to work with, honestly!)

We had over 40 kidpreneurs showcasing their products and services on the day and I was so proud of them.

Each and every one of them.

Some of them have been with us at @ultraeducation for years , and some it was their first time presenting their business to the world.

Thank you to the team for making the day a success!

We've got so much coming up for young entrepreneurs, so click the "What's On" link in my bio to see how your child can get involved.

We had a blast last week @hackneyempire where we heard @emmagrede speak on her book tour #StartWithYourself co-hosted with @jayshetty

The evening was incredibly inspiring filled with so many female founders and women wanting to make a way for themselves, but it didn’t end there as our Luxwells founder @dontwateryourselfdown also had the opportunity to meet @emmagrede which was epic!

We can’t think of a beverage selection more soothing and hydrating to wind down to after a tour as busy as this, so @emmagrede @jensgrede we hope that you thoroughly enjoy our Luxwells range.

We also hope that story time for your little ones will be even more enjoyable with the books written by our little kidpreneur @arisanauthor , as an addition to their reading collection! 📚

To mark #WorldBookDay we just had to share with you what our Luxwells baby is up to, as she is now a young author! 📚🥳

@arisanauthor is always asked about her author journey and why she started writing books, so if you know any young budding authors or any children finding their reading challenging this may well inspire them to read more for enjoyment, especially as 2026 is the National Year of Reading.

If you want to support by sharing this with other parents, teachers, bookshop outlets, librarians or literary educators we would love for you to spread the word!
And if you would like to order copies of these amazing books please check out the link in the @arisanauthor bio. 📚✏️🔥
