it's been one week and I'm really missing both the metaphor concert, chicago, and all my friends :(

had a fun weekend though! got to meet erin fitzgerald, take a lot of stupid pictures, hang out with friends I rarely see, and of course enjoy an incredible concert!! i may or may not be attempting a metaphor cosplay for magfest as a result...

Happy (late) anniversary to Metaphor ReFantazio!

Being able to see the orchestral concert on the game's anniversary is truly a blessing and a dream come true 🥹

It was so fun getting to meet so many other fans and listening to the AMAZING @chicagophilharmonic and @chichamberchoir perform a phenomenal arrangement of the game's music!!!

This game will always have a special place in my heart - not only was Metaphor responsible for inspiring me to first cosplay, but it also led me to meet a fellow fan - @pixl_cos - who would later become my girlfriend ❤️🥹

(Next time though we need something in Canada PLEASE I can't keep driving all day 🫩)

Happy 2 year Metaphor: Refantazio Anniversary! Another year to one of my favorite games ever :)

I didn't want to take too long writing a full sappy description, so i'll try to keep it brief. This game means a lot to so many people, not just me. I've made many memories and friends sharing their mutual love for this game's themes. Created and recreated cosplays for this game for the love of its characters & through it, connected with some of the kindest corners of the community.

These photos are from a batch from a Metaphor group photoshoot I was a part of at Otakon! It was my first time ever having a photoshoot in all my years of cosplaying & nonetheless, a group one :) Having been a Metaphor group means a lot more to me, especially knowing that all of these talented cosplayers came together over a shared interest. I think it further shows the importance of Metaphor's message: how much fantasy matters in our lives as an outlet of hope (and connection in this case). I'm just really sappy about community guys my bad ^^;;

Go play Metaphor when it comes out on Switch2 guys :D You won't regret it!

Here’s the start of my Kingdom Hearts Dearly Beloved Menu Screen project!! I’ve wanted to get my friends together at @colossalcon east this year to replicate the KHIII Re:Mind DLC menu screen, and I’m very happy with how these turned out. Friendship is an incredibly strong theme in Kingdom Hearts, even in spite of people not being from the same place, world, or series.

Thank you to all the friends who came by and got photos with me 🥹🫶 sorry if I couldn’t get everyone to the wave pool while I was in KH cosplay! I’ll be doing this project still for future colossal cons if you missed out!! And maybe beach photoshoots too!!

📸 credit goes to the lovely friends who helped capture each shot (some I forgot who took what 😭) but special shoutout to @merstrein for getting the first shot with the waves crashing at our feet. Stylistically that’s my favorite one c:
