We did get it … eventually.

A coach once told me that in order to get better at something you have to be okay with getting messy.

Life’s no fun when you’re so serious. Embracing the messy.

Long before furnishings, fabrics, & decorative details are selected, the architectural language of a home must be thoughtfully established. When designing a custom residence, involving your interior designer from the earliest stages is essential. Our role often extends far beyond decorating—collaborating on architectural details and selecting every hard finish to ensure your home feels cohesive, from the inside out! However, we offer a variety of different services to meet your needs-so DM us or email us at sam@samalleninteriors.com today to schedule your 1-Hour Complimentary Design Consultation! I look forward to meeting with you! XOSPA🌳

7 years of ACT Design.

Beautiful spaces matter, and sure, that’s what we do here. But it’s just so much more than that to us.

We create spaces for connection.
For slow mornings and loud dinners.
For growing families, celebrations, quiet moments, and lives well lived.

Thank you for trusting us with the backdrop to your stories.

Cheers to seven years 🤍

Honeybee Swarm Season Math.

When resources are abundant, or home starts to feel crowded… queens decide to boogie and take about half of their population with them.

So as beekeepers, we beat them to the punch — splitting the hives for them to simulate a swarm. The old queen will happily settle into her smaller population, and the newly queenless population will get busy making their new leader.

Ngl, it’s pretty fucking cool. #honeybee #queenbee #beekeeper

My wife @shf220 had the genius idea to turn one our closets into a sneaker closet with Knicks card wallpaper and the finished product is glorious. Some content of the entire process.

A massive shoutout to our friend @arithill @actdesignct for taking the lead on applying each card individually to the wall, she was styling & profiling for days. So much zest & finesse as @realwaltclydefrazier would say. If you want something similar, hit her up.

I curated all the cards, tried to get a nice mix of generations. 🔶🔷 forever & ever. Maybe 2026 is finally our year? Dare to dream.
